Best of luck Rev, its a great idea. I have similar back problems and may well drop you a line sometime to see how you are getting on, to perhaps inspire myself to head in a new direction. Oh and happy birthday too

Is "Coventry community" the new "Coventry area"?

At least it shows an awareness of PR that was previously lacking.

I'm suspicious. Things are looking up, as a City fan experience tells me I'm about to be kicked in the balls.

Surely it's up to SISU to make an offer on obtaining revenues ?
ACL can't just hand them over. Particularly as they helped out by buying them off the club.

I got the open letter too. A very clear statement that ACCESS TO MATCH DAY REVENUES is all that is standing between CCFC and a return to the Ricoh paying a fair rent. Indeed, it seems that "We have always been happy to pay a competitive rent".

No mention of never dealing with the City Council again, "unencumbered freehold", "land enablement", "value creation", getting a return on past investment blunders, or snapping up ACL on the cheap at the expense of the people of Coventry and the local charity.

It sounds good to me, and should be easy enough to sort out. I am of course assuming a willingness to pay to get the revenues back, and bit of goodwill between the various parties. What could possibly go wrong?

The bigger picture is stadium ownership.

Maybe they are now thinking let's get back some how and prove we can be nice for a while and then they will hand the keys for the Ricoh to them?

Don't care if they own it or not.
Just want to watch my team play in Coventry would like to have owners that were trustworthy and transparent.
Want us to build a team we can be proud of again.
Want to be able to have banter with opposition fans at work.

Fuck me that is the reason I started to go to football for seems we have lost it all in one foul stroke....

Just give us our team back give us our Saturdays back give us our friends back.

if they want our trust back they will have to work hard to get it.

So yes I am bitter will never forget what they have done.

Possibly a step in the right direction, with realistic aims.

But, the we have failed to communicate with you and want to do better.....come on SISU you keep peddling that line without ever improving your relationship with the fans or communication with them. Never mind AEG to run the stadium, you want to all enrol on a public relations course and learn a bit about customer care.

Dear Coventry City supporters,

Our issue is why should the money you spend in support of the football club be taken away from the club? The first team and Academy should not be disadvantaged - your money should be invested into putting the best team on the pitch and cultivating young players that you can be proud of. As you know, investment in the playing talent is the lifeblood of a football club.

- Joy Seppala & Tim Fisher

My issue is that why did SISU waste £500k of taxpayers' money on a ”hopeless" court case (which they may be ordered to re-imburse) and a similar (or even greater) amount on its own legal fees? This is money that could have been invested into "putting the best team on the pitch and cultivating young players."

It'll take many, many years of matchday revenue to recoup these costs, income which SISU will expect to be given for nothing, no doubt?

The "lifeblood of the club" is not your "investment in the playing talent” (or lack of it over the past few years) Joy, it's the fans - but you still haven't realised it yet have you?

The main objective has to be getting back to the Ricoh and if it means ACL waving goodbye to that £590k that's what should happen imo. Get back home first then continue the fight to get these tripe hounds out of our club. For those who think we should stick with Sepalla, Fisher & co please tell me what they have done for the football team where it counts ON the pitch.

Stupid?
Sums up a twat like you perfectly. Still apologising for the sisu clowns, now that is stupid. The shit you consistently spew is remarkable, it mirrors the shit sisu consistently spew. Now there is food for thought.

Surely all City fans want ghe club to get the money that is spent in the stadium on match days?
