In the period between 1995 and 1999 are you sure? We had a massive amount of overseas signings in that period didn't we?

In struggling to see your point. So 30% were overseas and I'm sure the signing ratio of overseas to domestic was very high in tgat period - hence the DTI investigation - do you not agree?

In the premier league in the 90's I disagree I think the vast majority of better players were British.

law of averages suggested the vast majority of our better players must be on these shores if we had 70% of our players to choose from, no ?

Lalas was a centre half. Not sure how that relates in any way to Coventry City though.

for every one dodgy overseas player, i reckon i could name 2 UK/ROI based players

Cobi Jones wasn't anywhere near the standard. I agree Grendel Wegerle was skilful but lightweight.

Roger Van Gool about as appetising as wallpaper paste.

I still stand by Isaias as a good player. We just didn't take advantage of the fact we had him. He played few full games. Hull in the cup though showed his passing range and he could strike a ball in his stride with very little back lift.

Nah too lightweight

Just trying to make a team out of foreigners who were not the worst in the world.

Not easy to be fair.
