Out team is bad, agreed....but our support is as bad. (6 Viewers)

I am going to continue my negativiity is morning......our support is shite and has been for some time, we have people that stay away and we have people that come and just sit there, can somebody tell me what the difference is please?

If people think that sitting in a blue seat for over 90mins saying fook all other than swearing at the players is support then whats the point. I sat there yesterday in the Telegraph stand thinking how dull it was and thats not just the football guys. Even the SISU out chants are a half cut attempt with about 10 people joining in.

So desperation off the pitch, on the pitch and in the stands. We all deserve each other.

As I said I am surprised we are still getting 12k+ attendances.
Also the difference is by sitting there you have paid for a ticket, money which goes to SUPPORT the football club.

Down trodden and had the stuffing knocked out of them Parson.
Was not there but did try and listen on CWR but even that was hard as there was just nothing happening to even excite linnell or andy blair.
I am surprised though with the big sisu out campaign was not making any noise so they are proberly not even aware of how much they are disliked.
As I have said on previous posts, I have nothing against those who want to protest but to think youre going to get thousands when this site and others only apportions to a few % of fans and also people say they are going to do things but never do as is life.
But you could not hear any songs or noise being made on the radio.
Think the hangmans noose and the crows are beginning to circle in numbers over the club now and the fight for survival has become just a twitch.

10 years of decline has took its toll.............people cannot relate to overpaid poncy footballers anymore, we have a serious financial crisis and we are reputably paying Bell £6.5k per week on his new contract.
The average Joe can do better things with their time and money. Lets face it as well, the unfair laws surrounding incidents at football matches make it too costly to overdo a protest inside a stadium as you may end up in jail on some trumped up charges.

SUPPORT From my point of view was the lack of atmosphere yesterday not the funds that were spend last year. My point is about people sitting there for 90 mins I know u have paid your money.

The atmosphere was possibly the worst I have seen in years home or away, truly dreadful.

Well if it makes no difference according to you you can't moan when we have 5k attendances next year.

Went with the game then, which was an absolutely tedious affair.

I'd normally go along with the sentiments about fans being bad and just sitting there. But I really can't at the moment. That team is awful, we're bottom of the league, the stench of desperation yesterday was thick. In this situation in years gone by the crowd WOULD be trying to lift the spirits of the players but there is one thing different - SISU. You coul just feel the air of hoplessness and resignation yesterday because no only can they see the club going down the pan, but also the whole club.

Clarke's interview yesterday, by the way, was a joke. Relegation is not a choice and implementing new plans in the new year - unless these plans are we're going to spend £10million on players in January then, I'm afraid Mr Clarke, that is the ONLY choice we've got. And considering to the quetion "will there be funds available in January" the answer was spluttered, full of hesitation and concluded with passing the buck (which is basically a politicians answer for a big, fat NO) then I'm afraid, Mr Clarke - wearing your Sky Blue scarf with pride - that we're down. Even you, as a "reputable" businessman can surely see that.

poor football, uninspiring manager, clowns in charge. You'd have to be a special kind of fan or well pissed up to get a party going there at the moment

Tell ya what, there was an overwhelming numbness in the stands. I do wish that our fans would sing more, but i respect the hell out of the 10,000 or so die hards that do part with their cash every week. These are expensive times, and by showing up we're showing more support than the "oh, i used to go but not any more" crowd. I will follow the sky blues til the day i die, and so will my future kids and their kids after those - a family curse yes, but city til i die!!!

SISU OUT

They have already parted with the cash mate. Me like many other purchased a season ticket and the club spent this years money last year!

You can sing club songs, you can sing anti SISU songs or you could sit there lifeless until you need a piss, fag, pie or beer (delete as appropriate)

Just ask yourself why the support is so bad. Perhaps the question should, what have we had to shout about since 1987... to good cup win at Man U and Blackburn. Never been in touch of the play offs, playing standard declining, a staduim that is to large for us (even in our Premiership Years), difficult to park at. I think its amazing we are getting 12 K with the dross we are been served up with a the moment. In the 50 years I have followed the Sky Blues this by far the worst team we have had. Give the fans something to shout about and they will come back. Right now that looks a very long way off

Oranges, tangerines and satsumas are in plentiful supply at this time of year. Take one old one each (preferably going bad) and sling it on the pitch at the end of the next home game. That would tell "Orange Ken" what we think of him! He would know what it meant! Or everyone take an orange balloon, blow it up and pop them at exactly 3pm! Just a couple of visual protests. :D

But thats the point Tony we have something so sing about yet sit there like the feking walking dead and then say what do we have to sing about, pathetic.
