Our strikers (1 Viewer)

Despite up front being arguably our strongest area in terms of numbers, I think it's a real weak point for us.

I'm yet to be convinced by any of them (alright it's early days for Nouble and Jackson) and I just can't see any of them scoring close to twenty goals this season.

I would like to see more of Miller because he seems like someone who likes to run the channels and play on the shoulder of the defender, which we really lacked last night.

And with the loss of midfield goals from Moussa and Baker we're going to need some from Fleck and OBrien.

Agree. Every successful side has at least one midfielder who gets into double figures when it comes to goals, can't see any of the present squad managing that.

As for the strikers none of them have been prolific during their careers.

They definitely need more pace and movement up front
They also got caught for pace at the back, especially second half

tudgay looked lacking in confidence to me, seemed to hide everytime we broke forward, he was a real weak link and looks like just here for a pay apcket

Think people are being harsh on Tudgay. He didn't have a great game but chased and worked hard off the ball. Nouble holds the ball up well but looked shattered after about half an hour.

McQuoid looked a bit disinterested when he came on I thought. He should've been running round like a loon but maybe he was struggling from midweek?

Looking forward to seeing Simeon Jackson coming back and getting match fitness.

Tudgay worked hard but was playing a similar tactic to Nouble with a lot of hold up play, backs to the goal rather than trying to make runs. I though McQuoid looked lively when he come on, he was making runs and trying to make things happen. I would like to see him and Nouble up front next game to see how they work but we need to be careful not to chop and change every game.

McQuoid has 3 from 7, Nouble scored on his debut, Jackson we know is class when fit, Miller looks handy but hasn't had much of a chance and Tudgay has scored everywhere he's been ( looks a little off ATM admittedly). I don't think that's too bad. Decent players for this division IMO.

Tudgay was a goal scorer about 4 seasons ago, looks very poor ATM.
Nouble will be a good addition for what he brings in hold up play etc but won't be prolific.
McQuiod looks terrible 3 in 7 just shows how stats are just that, his goal vs Wycombe was so poorly finished given the circumstances.
Miller we need to see more of but again what's been on show thus far has been distinctly average.
Jackson, I really hope he has not lost his ability that made me rate him in the prem when he was their with Norwich.

Come January we will need to assess this area of the pitch as it is key to winning and loosing games.

Just wait till Nouble and Jackson are starting! Bar them two, the only striker likely to reach 15 goals is McQuoid.
