Had we won 2-1 and not coded in injury time we wouldn't be having inquest into problems though

Anyways as for catching teams above us we have another good chance next week if we best pboro as walls all play Gillingham and Burton away to Oldham who have like 6 draws and a win I think over last 7 or 8 games so very hard to beat

Yea at 2-0 I said if we can see this out then everything will be good again after the negativity of the last week, how quickly it can change

And that's the key, this is on the back of 4-5 average and below par performances.

5 games in which we remain unbeaten ;) Just imagine how good it will be when we are clicking again.

We are 4th , with a game in hand
Top 2 playing each other next week
4 points from 2 games, and we push on even further
Look where we are to where we have come from
Maddison back in 3 weeks, and then we will press on

We're tough to beat this year, 5 games in which apparently we haven't played well yet we haven't even looked in danger of losing any of them.

Yep, exactly. If this is poor form I can't wait until we start turning it on again.

Highlight of Peteboro tonight - they looked usefuul. However, if we win either of the next 2 games at home, we should still be 4th, which after a third of the season gone (and with Maddison creeping nearer to return) is very pleasing - we wouldn't have believed this possible after a pretty dire pre-season:thinking about:

I remember after Oxford it was that we were going to get hammered every game.

Pboro striker looks like big mofo. Scared to think what he might do with a reda less defence.

Same time excited to see how cole play at ricoh.

7 day countdown starts now!

They will play open I expect so going to be chances at both ends.

Think its going to be a case of both teams will have a hat full of chances but who can be more clinical on the day, hope Armstrong has found his shooting boots.

Christ alive, does everything have to be so black and white?

Surely it's possible to be pleased we're 4th (midtable would be succcess for me this season!) but also point out our form is not that of a 4th placed team, without that being negative?

Agree. The trend is downwards at the moment, but at the same time there is still a lot to be very happy about.

What sort of form is 9 points from the last 5 games then? Stay unbeaten in the next two home matches and suddenly people will be talking about what a fantastic run we are on.

If you offered me 76 points now I'd take it, which is the total we would get if we continued our 'concerning' form for the rest of the season.

Even Mowbray is saying we have to aim for 6 points from the next 2, as he's not happy about the run of draws.

I'd hope he's been aiming for 3 points from every game tbh.

I'm not happy with the draws against Blackpool and Swindon either. But these sort of results happen over the course of a season to all teams at the top, we're unbeaten in 5 whilst apparently not playing well and we're still in a great position.

Yeh good point from ccfc

This form can easily be transformed into solid good form

It's not worth panicking or over analysing about just yet

Not sure where that has came from, don't think the club has said anything. Think I may have read they are hoping for round December so possibly another 5 weeks minimum being optimistic

Plus under 21 games under his belt to bring him up to match fitness.

Plus again, tbh, he's only played a few first team games in his life, so it would be unwise to raise expectations on him too much.

Yea, he has a full preseason behind him though so once he's fully recovered from injury it shouldn't be long before he is back in the fold

Oh how different this forum would be tonight had we held on for a win. Football's fucking crazy

That's not what you have to worry about. What if we get to the end of the season and we are 2 points off the play-offs, then you can look back at this Swindon game as the point we threw it away.

And we could clinch promotion by a point?

Look noone is happy with yesterday in any event

You finish where you deserve to, we're in a great position and if that's the case then we weren't good enough in the remaining 32 games to finish in the play offs.

It's a bit of a concern, and shows how important those first 3 games were.

10 games - 5th

9 games - 4th

8 games - 4th

7 games - 4th

6 games - 2nd

5 games - 5th

4 games - 3rd

3 games - 1st
