Now only 31-years-old, Biamou is currently without a club and it’s unclear at the moment what his next step will be.

No matter what happens though, it’s clear from his social media that the player still has plenty of love for Coventry, going by the tweets he has interacted with and the Instagram pictures he’s shared over the years.

How is Maxime Biamou getting on since leaving Coventry City?

Coventry City have had a tough season so far, with off-field issues not helping as Mark Robins' side currently in the relegation zone.

He's going to be the replacement for Gyo in January isn't he

I think it was Stoke he came off the bench and scored a decent goal, ended the season strongly after that

So Callum Maycock is the best midfielder ever to play for us then.

What are you talking about? hamer has played in the majority of the last 24 league games - we’ve won 3 he’s been involved in

So why when he returns will our results spike upwards

Why not. Some people wanted to renew his contract and not give Gyokeres one anyway

Who knows, but they certainly would spike upwards if we brought Maycock back given we won 100% of games he played in.

We lack a dynamic forward to play alongside Vik. The current forwards might suggest they are getting poor service and Vik has chosen to shoot when a pass has been on. However the reality is both Godden and Walker both physically dont have the attributes to represent a consistent threat at this level. Godden does have a decent goals to games ratio but without OHare this season he has found our current way of playing hard to operate in. Why Robins has not reverted to 1 up top (a system in the past he appeared wedded to) is puzzling at best.

I would in all honesty go with Waghorn who looked decent alongside Gyo last season and is probably his best strike partner if we are to persist with 2 up front.

Well you though someone in the team was the worst player ever to put on a sky blue shirt. Now who was it? Oh yes

Match Thread - Blackburn Match Thread - 27th Feb - 3PM Kickoff - Ewood Park

Not really he’s useless and his found a partner that’s as useless - for a big player physically he’s so poor at using his body weight - he and Gyorkes was like watching two Bob Latchfords - when he was 35 it was turgid stuff He was a handful. Do I want him on a one on one, probably not but he...

So you did your investigation! Well done.

The difference is i am happy to admit I was totally wrong. I didn't rate him on loan but soon changed my view. You will no doubt stick to your claim that Foden isn't all that.

Don't disagree. He could also drop into a 10 role alongside Palmer in a 3-4-2-1

Stating facts. So your happy where we are in the league. Your happy that we’ve only scored 1 in 4?
Or we’ve only conceded 1 in 4 but that would be a positive right and you only post about losing our first game in 4 by a single goal against a premier league side a few months back. We’re bottom of the league because we have 3 games in hand against poor teams that we’ll play at home and most likely win. If we don’t judge us then.

It’s alright we’re still 3rd
It’s alright we’re still in the playoffs
It’s alright we’re still in the top half
It’s alright we’re still yet to play 3 ‘easy’ home games
It’s alright we’re still in the Championship

Haven't read the thread, but as usually happens when we stop conceding, we dry up the other end.

1-1 over the last 4 games, isn't it?

It'll be back to 7-6 in a few games time !

Wow. We been playing with 2 strikers you when many advocating play just one. Explain how you think we been setting up negatively. Lol heard it all.

Should have been out of sight vs Birmingham in first half alone.

First things first we had to be improve drastically at the back which we have done.

Its fine margins. We wont be anywhere near the bottom of the league.

Lets see where we are on the 12th Nov. Then il make my judgement call.

The negativity and insecurity on here is mental.

We played 3 home games! Preston best defence in the league. Still we were better team. And Burnley who will finish top 6.

We have also conceded 14 goals ...3 less than Reading who are 5th, 1 less than Swansea who are 6th and 1 more than Norwich who are 2nd placed although all of them have scored more goals than us we are the 2nd lowest goalscorers so fa just in front of Preston who have scored 7 and are placed in 8th position but they have conceded only 6 goals so far, so obviously we need more goals for and to keep some clean sheets in the process, and while we are creating chances but missing way too many we won't have a meteoric rise up the table until that is adressed, so as much as its easy to blame the defence I think the midfield is really the prime suspect followed by the lack of support for Viktor because atm if he aint scoring neither are we !!

Should have

Points arent given for playing well ffs what is everyones obsession with that?

We can play like prime barca but if we lose its still 0 points.

Its like the whole 'We out sung *insert team name here*' Nice one I bet their fans are in pieces on the way home with 3 points that they weren't as loud as us

Twat mentality

The Birmingham game iirc we had a lot of shots from range, we certainly couldn’t have been out of sight, infact they had the best chance of the half with Bacuna I think

Not one person is comparing our fans being vocal to winning points.

The team is weak, so what's the problem with people being proud of our support.

There's being proud of it, which we all are, for how shit the last 20 years have been we have fantastic support

Its the cringe fucking comments on social media to fans of clubs that take 3 points off us without breaking a sweat, going all 'You were well quiet, shit fans, we out sung you for 90 minutes'

Be proud of it yes, the high percentage of mainly tbh fucking teenagers giving it stacks about how loud we are when were 6 points from safety with 1 win in 10 is sad

Dunno. Birmingham the best chance in the first half and he made a good save from a corner towards the end. Having lots of low quality shots doesn’t = dominance

Yes, I think Hamer had 4 shots from 25 yards plus on the first half that game. Bacuna's chance in the first half was the best chance of the game, followed by his header in the second half.

And Wilson was indeed man of the match

The whole atmosphere and who's louder is a big part of football, let's be honest. Same around the world. Otherwise, people would sit in silence like other sports.

That's not suggesting it's better than winning games though.

Not sure why the ‘your so negative brigade’ are putting the thread down. Stats don’t lie and neither does the table. I really hope I’m wrong but I just can’t see ohare returning helping in the short term. It will take him weeks to get peak match fitness and by the time he does, World Cup break will kick in.
