On the pitch? (24 Viewers)

Seems common sense prevailed last night thankfully. Fantastic scenes at full time celebrating from the stands rather than having to rush all the players off. Think I saw one or two get on but swiftly dealt with, and will now have to find something else to do with their saturdays for the next few years.
I think 'common sense' was impelled by the presence of the entirety of WMP.

And the pyro idiots, ban coming for them very soon.
My lad (12 yo) who foregoes the body search was asked by the turnstyle steward to show his socks last night!
I was somewhat incredulous to the bloke - not in anyway abusive but more in disbelief.
Upon reflection it does question how some 'adults' may have got contraband into the stadium.

The searching is massively inconsistent. They would need to put on significantly more staff to search everyone, otherwise the ground would be half empty at kick off.

We got to the stadium last night probably the earliest we've ever been - 50 mins b4 KO so no queue and very thorough pat down (for me)
But to be honest when we arrive at our normal time (15-20 mins bf KO) and massive queues, every adult seems to be checked - hence no doubt the reason we've not witnessed any pyro (other than last night) this or last season.
I genuinely believe some kids must have been used to 'mule' them in.
Whilst we're on the subject - what a pathetic response from stewards/safety officers in dealing with said smoking projectiles - added to that the referee refusing to restart the game until they had self extinguished and then been removed.
Why a change in policy from a couple of seasons ago?
What a waste of fire buckets!

I walked in about 7:35, absolutely no search. Was wearing a decently thick jacket as well, so plenty of room to hide stuff in.
