Didn’t feel half as annoyed as some leaving the game last night from the reaction on here, yes we weren’t great and yes Lampard could have and should have made changes earlier.

However the bigger picture is if you were offered our position now at the start of the season you would have snapped their hand off.

Ipswich are a very good team, with fantastic depth but will drop points against teams as the first half of the season has shown.

10 point gap still on them and two tough but very winnable games coming up, keep the faith, #PUSB

10 points clear of third. The same gap as at the start of the difficult run.

The fixture list for November and December was horrific. We’ve got through it. Some very winnable games over the next couple of months now

I dont get why people are getting on Haji's back.. he's a center forward.. playing down the middle.. he relys on crosses to get goals.. he isn't getting those crosses.. Simms found the same thing when he came on.. barely touched the ball.
It was noticeable last night that the MVE/Sakamoto combination was completely missing from an attacking viewpoint - largely because we didn't exert any control in the centre of the park. EMC tried, but had little support. bad day at the office, with some of our players below par, coupled with facing a very decent team. Will be more concerned if we fail to perform at Charlton, as we know blues will be a scrap fest. The Charlton game is huge imo.

We are 8 points clear of second place ffs. This place is unbelievable sometimes.
It could be worse, we could be Boro who are well and truly starting to drop off. The early Hellberg hype might be just that.

Even if Ipswich overtake us, I’m not worried about Boro or the chasing pack.

We are still in a fabulous position.

We have had flu in the camp and some players off their game (Rudoni, Saka, Wright)

And in just a few days, we can bring in reinforcements

Ignore lat night. We are in a great place right now

I’d be shocked if Wright and Rudoni don’t hit some decent form in the second half of the season. Add their goal output from last season (and wright earlier this) and we’ll be flying.

Wright was onto a loser last night. Trying to occupy two decent CBs with little service or much help from ref. I can get frustrated by him as much as the next man but I’m not throwing him under the bus for yesterday.

if the December form of 8 points from 6 games was repeated for the rest of the season, we’d still finish on 80 points.

That is why I’m not all that concerned at the so called bad run

That's probably just enough to see us finish third ☹️

On current trend it would see us in second, just.
Point is in a 6 game spell where we’ve played the best team on paper twice, played at a ground where we’ve never once won, played away at a parachute team with ten men, and played against a team we last beat at home 44 years ago, we’ve still managed to do enough to maintain form that would almost get us Autos.

Rudoni needs to be benched for a few games, he really is not helping us at the minute, he is slowing our attacks down and disrupting Saka and EMC's games, as he keeps drifting out wide. Who would have thought after last season, that we would be saying this about Rudoni and also that we can't wait to have Desilva and BTA back.

Really can’t see that Rudoni is the issue. He was poor last night but was not alone in that. For me the big drop off has been Torp who just can’t get around the pitch. Maybe just needs a rest and Eccles to come in for a few games

Since Rudoni has come back and BTA been injured the free flowing overlapping football has finishes,we seem to be over working the ball to get it to Rudoni. When we eventually get a cross in it never hits a target man as its 5/6 players against Wright/Simms who can't head a football.
