If you could bring one former, retired Cov player out of retirement and restore him to his former ability (while at Cov) to fit into the current squad as it is, who would you pick? For me, I'd plump for either Mifsud, McSheffrey or Magnus Hedman

Why those players? Rather than Robbie Keane for example

Keane or Hadji. Jesus Christ the goals they would score in this league.

David Thompson in the number 10 role would be decent.

I never got to see Robbie Keane play, mine are based upon the players I've actually seen play.
I absolutely loved the way Mifsud played football and think he's just the kind of striker we'd need right now, linking up with Max or Godden. McSheffrey was fairly versatile and I think a younger McSheffrey would have fit into the number ten role quite well, but also as a wing option.
Hedman was just a great keeper in my opinion, and Westwood hasn't retired yet. Not saying Marosi is bad, but he's unproven at our club. For me, Hedman was a closed door in front of goal

You do know, we used to have good players here... but from who you have seen... fair enough, it's your picks.

OK so it's only players you've seen. That makes more sense.

Do they have to have a M to start either name?

Speedie was my hero, but I'd have to go for one of Dublin, Keane or Huckerby just because I think they'd be worth 30 goals at this level (dependant upon the service they'd theoretically receive).

Why not? Like I've said I'm only basing my choices on who I've seen play

As much as I can understand people saying Dublin have we got anyone who can deliver a decent set piece to take advantage of his ariel ability?

Not a cat in hells chance we would have drawn on sat if Dublin was playing. He would have finished at least one of those chances

Obviously Dublin, probably the best player I’ve ever seen live for CCFC.

As for fitting into this team. Probably either a number 10 like Hadji or Keane, or Roland Nilsson in for Dabo.
