Well since WW2 they definitely aren't. Equal major honours since then but our historical crowds dwarf theirs.

Back in the late 50s early 60s Burnley we’re conistantly in the top three battling with Man U. Wolves and Spurs at the top. as the 60s progressed and more finance came in the game they fell away to the big city clubs

And in the 80s they were averaging around 2-3000 for years in the bottom tier.

Weren’t they a couple of minutes of going out of the EFL, didn’t their goalkeeper score a last minute goal to save them from that dreaded drop, they have been a real roller coaster club over the years.

I say sell him and get Chiotis in goal, Maxim Tsigalko up top and Tarbio West is free . I think I've been playing Champ Manager 01/02 too long!

Since WW2 burnley won the top flight twice and had 30 consecutive seasons in the top flight - they’ve been in the top flight as much as we have since WW2

if it’s crowds that determine the definition Sunderland are twice as big as us

I know what you're implying, but if he is injured for a while, no-one will be buying. The irony is he's barely missed a game since he came.

If Waghorn is fit (and Palmer isn't) I'd be tempted to use him just behind the striker(s)

Are they bigger than West ham ?

Burnley are not bigger than Coventry, their all time average just peaks 14k , I don't care if they won a title in 1960 and 1679

Good to see you are giving him time in that position before you write him off. Start of the Season normal service resumed

They haven't. They've won it once since WW2. Won nothing else. They were a mess in the 80s and spent years with crowds as small as our average away following last year.

We've both had exactly 34 years each in the top flight since WW2.
