conceded 8 in 2 we have known for a while where cov would be undone, defensively we are a shambles with murphy chipping in with yet more errors.
trouble is we have no players to come in who can do a job, unless we get some loan signings the play offs will be to much for us,

clubs have rumbled us long ball, pressurize our back four and centre mid and you will get a goal.......what does pressley do?

not really you cant keep expecting the front 2 to score 4 every week hoping we will win 4-3, Linnell said we were dreadful,

Bradford mixed it but knew the long ball was our weakness, crosses, free kicks, corners all cause us problems

I know it's only one loss so maybe we shouldn't over analyse the situation, however the 5 goals today, 2 at Bradford and the 1 at AFC Wimbledon were all down to player error and to concede 8 goals in 3 games simply isn't good enough if we want to push on this season.

Let's get the heads up City and put it right against Rotherham.

Agreed, I think its a good thing that we have another game so quickly after this, less time to mull over the drubbing.

I would have snapped your hands off at the start of the season to be where we will be tonight.

Its not panic stations, but its certainly something that ex defender Stephen Pressley needs to look at

No don't change the formation it won't help. We just need to be more intelligent especially at the back, Yes I am looking at Murphy and Jordan C.

surely EVERY goal conceeded to down to player error ?

Some goals you can't do nothing about but playing a pass astray or coming out of your goal like a defender when your the Goalkeeper isn't acceptable.

I just hope the players haven't heard something bad happening off the pitch?

I know our defence is poor, but it just seems strange that the whole team has a bad game suddenly.

Let's get things into perspective. At the start of the season our aim was to avoid relegation. I think this is still our aim. We all know what City are like after christmas

Robbo in Pressley OUT :guitar2:

LOL! I don't think we need to go that far fella, but we just need to be a bit more intelligent. I'll be honest though no one expected us to be fighting for the play-offs and we are doing well, little blips were bound to happen.

That's right, to an outsider nobody would believe we started with a 10 point deduction, considering where we are now in the table. Just hope this is just a blip though, dropping 2 points at the death last Sunday and then getting hammered today. If we can just bounce back on Tuesday we will be back on track. PUSB

Agreed but I get a feeling you will see a better performance with Conor back in the side.

We might have lost today but looking at one positive we started off six points off the playoffs and we are still only six points off.

I've been saying for ages that our defence needs sorting out. As the great Brian Clough once said "It doesn't matter if you score 10 goals in a game, if the other buggers score 11, you've still lost!" (or words to that effect!)
