Anyone else like me get really excited when the club say a signing is to be announced shortly, when more often than not it's a player we've already got?

Why do we put ourselves through it!!! the club should just come out and say we have gone home and nothing is or will be announced today, save us the pain of waiting in hope. Loans and Hunt not what i would of imagined after our current form and the inability to hit the target, score and defend.

FFS.

Three weeks and the season's gone to shit. From on for the autos, Sisu have released a war chest, to hoping to cling onto play offs and couldn't sign someone if they were gift wrapped and dropped off a Ryton with a contract.

This fucking club. Why do I bother? We're like a shit Dad who says he's brought you a bike, but you know it'll be pawned for booze before you get to see it. Wish Mowbray and the CET had kept their mouths shut and just told us we were getting nothing and we'll like it.

To be fair i dont think we have much money to play around with and we cant send players out on loan and pay for wages still. So i expect 2 more loans and let current squad players leave come summer when deals are up, just gets frustrating when statements come out about money and potential signings being close.

If we had won the last few games most would not be paying attention in any case.

It will stink just a tiny bit if we come out of today with nothing. Yes I know that there's still time for them to pull something out of the hat but I think I'd rather not be left hanging on like this....

Courage mes braves!

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sp...ews/coventry-city-transfer-news-live-10815738

So to repeat we’re expecting transfer activity from the Sky Blues tonight.

Mowbray is trying to complete deals for a centre-back and a striker ahead of the deadline at 11pm tonight. While we could also see a few departures should things go according to plan.

Like I said before, we need to get the players we've got fit and up to speed primarily.

Sounds like something is brewing Cox and a CB i would be happy with. Then as above get the players all on the same page, injuries back, Maddison, Fleck knowing this seasons is the only important thing and go from there.

Bailey Cargill is doing the rounds in the Bournemouth press. Fans have good things to say about him. Centre back on loan.

Baily James Cargill (born 5 July 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a defender who plays for newly-promoted Premier League club Bournemouth.[3] Cargill is a left footed centre back who can also play at full back.

He is also an England U19 defender.

Looks like a perfect for for us.

Yep with the tractor boys, unfortunately he's been blighted with injuries, shame because my ITFC mates reckon he's their best player when fit.

Could be 2 CB from prem clubs tonight!! Pennigton and Cargill? still would like Simon Cox deal to go through if this is any truth in that story. Then that would be a good window.

No appearances for Bournemouth but loaned out to three non-league clubs. Not a very promising CV. 6' 2" though.

Made 10 appearances in the FA cup and England U19 international.

Adam Armstrong is on his first loan to guess where...
