I know most of these stories are bs, but don't you get associated with a higher calibre of player when you are up there after Christmas! (This is a new thing for all of us...)

Is true...players who aren't in favour in the championship want to be with a winning promotion challenging team with a view to a perm deal next season. Works for both parties.

After tonight's game we need some more proper strikers.

Turf MAF and Tudgay out and get some goal threats in.

Fucking Fortune. We'd be better off putting Ramage on and sticking Ricketts up top of we want a big man. You know the games over when Fortune arrives. He's like the Death of Attacking Football.

I agree. You can't be employed as target man and never win a header, ffs. It's like being described as a tough tackling midfielder and never putting your foot in (Gary Deegan).

He was good when he came on - i was desperate for him to ram the criticism down the fans throats when he came on. Some boos around us at the end - unbelievable!

He won 4 headers in the last 5 mins out of 4 - what were you watching?

To be honest I wasn't at the game tonight as I was working but most people on my Twitter feed were moaning what's the point in putting him on when there's other players who could pose more of a goal threat on the bench.

I think Tudgay is 100% off, can't even remember the last time he came off the bench

I thought at last a plan B - Lump the ball to Fortune and run off him - it could work in some games!

He doesn't do anything with the ball though, just holds it and gets tackled.

He needs to lay the ball off better and quicker.

It's a shame, Tudgay is a lot better than MAF.

MAF's only goal is that pen isn't it? Tudgay actually scores from open play.

Tudgay is a better player than Fortune but he was signed by Pressley. Fortune was signed by TM. Obviously TM prefers his 'own' players even if they are inferior. That said, Gary Madine is a better player than either of them.

Don't really get this. People have opinions, some also disagree with some of the managers decisions. Doesn't mean they should fuck off and stop watching.

Fortune doesn't do much for me, but some of the vitriol he gets is a bit much, as if the season's going so well that people need some target to shout about. Angry Young Man in the seat behind me literally gave him 5 seconds on the pitch before screaming obscenities at him.

After a few minutes of it I wanted Fortune to score primarily to spite the guy behind me first, with the 2-1 win that'd come with it being merely a nice bonus.

In Angry Young Man's partial defence, he is enraged by every little thing that doesn't go perfectly. Just before warmly applauding him off the pitch, I did enjoy him screaming at 50-cap international Joe Cole that he's shit and should learn how to pass a ball.

Were you in block 16 about row U ? I had a right arse behind me slagging Cole saying he shouldn't be allowed in our league as he is a Prem player, RCC worst goalie we ever had and all sorts of crap all match. Half way through the second half he asked someone who the ginger bloke was at left back

Sounds like the dickhead that had a go at Murphy earlier in the season.

To misquote Jimmy Carr, I don't understand booing your own players, that's like keying your own car.

If TM can get the calibre of player in like Cole, Hunt, Turner aswell as contacts in bigger clubs to get Armstrong, Murphy, Bigi and Kent then he can surely get a better standard of player than MAF and Tudgay. This is not me slagging those two off its just we have to improve our squad to be able to keep going forward, you always have to find better than what you have otherwise you stand still.

We have been in the top 6 most if not all season but at the moment seem to be stuck in 4th, we need to push on while the smaller clubs and squads will be hit with suspension or injuries at some point we need to be able to have enough quality to get stronger as the season goes on.

20 games to go yet the squad we have now will improve and it sounds like we will be adding to it, have confidence.

We really need to get another striker in to support Armstrong.
