Great point, I learnt this from Football Managers H/T and pre-match team-talks

As a (non-football) manager in real life, it's exactly the same: some people need almost constant supervision, either to re-assure them, instruct them, or to put them on the right track. A lot ofyoungsters or inexperienced team-members fall into this category. Others have initiative, leadership and the ability to motivate themselves and work independently. Others are just there to pick up the pay-cheque and prone to taking the piss (or calling in sick for the second Monday in a row, like a colleague of mine today..that's what you get with Temps!).

Indeed. I wonder how low he will eventually take us?

In the year 2018, we could have just started our season in the Midland Alliance, fans hark back to the mythical first season where CCFC won every game 6-0, before the team was destroyed and players recruited from pub teams. There are cheery waves going on and we are told the team needs time to gel and that it is insane to ever sack a manager.
