Think it was more the case that he's out of contract in June and QPR have offered him more minutes and a move that's near to where he grew up/closer to family etc.Really wasn’t expecting this. Have they seen something we should have seen?

I'd say its very unlikely we are going to be in the market for a 4th choice striker.Saw him at Stevenage in pre season 2024. He started and scored, and looked decent. Skillful, fairly quick and he's a big unit. He did strike me as slightly lackadaisical though. If he can't get minutes in League 1 he is not getting anywhere near our team this season. Perhaps we have a young striker lined up. if we lost 2 of Wright, Simms or BTA to injury at the same time we are going to need a back up striker from somewhere.
