I think there is very good chance of him signing a new contract , think the club are trying to secure as many of the current first team on new contractsI agree. He is undroppable. However part of that is coz there is no replacement for the way he plays the game and the type of high energy football we play. The nearest is Allen or JJ. Neither of them are near his level.
He’s been my favourite player for 18 months (sound like a member of the JSB now- I was in the early 90s). However sometimes feel someone pushing him for his squad place or resting him could push his game further on.
I think I’d give my left nut for him to sign a new contract on a 20% pay increase.

Hamer is technically very talented. He needs to improve his positional discipline in my view, but I think he is the most able of the squad to step up to the Premier League.Or he is just petulant and think's he's better than he actually is?
