Thoughts? Could be a good runout for some of the younger players such as howley , reid , burroughs etc

Coventry City FC have confirmed they will be bringing their 1st team squad for our friendly at Liberty Way on Tuesday 3rd August KO 7.30pm
Tickets are still available for the game, priced at;
Adults £10
Concessions £8
U16- £3
U11- £1
I know mate but Robins could use Some young players still. Burroughs and Reid will be part of the 1st team squad this yearIt’s our first team
We needed another game after the Norwich match was cancelled. A few players are undercooked for sure.
Just a shame it's so close to the first game of the season but will be some useful minutes for a lot of players.
Give a few 45minute run outs for players to help get them up to speed. MR will know who needs what

I'd say that's a good shout as those same guys are likely to feature in the League Cup game v Northampton on the 11thIt's weird because all the Comms straight after the wolves game have said 'our last pre-season game'. I imagine it will be more fringe players than the starters from today perhaps?

Coventry XI now so i assume Hyam and Rose wont be involved but rest probably not far off, more youngsters probably.Based of a guess of what the first team will be on Sunday, I’d go for:
Wilson
Hyam Cranie Rose
Dacosta Howley ???? (Not Allen or Shipley) Souaré
Jones
Nee Walker
Back three and Souaré just because they look like they need minutes.

We have first team games on Sunday and Tuesday so I suspect they will be kept back for those with fringe players likley to start against Northampton
Got to be question marks over the two trialists if they haven't been offered deals yet
TBH I wish we took the cups seriously. We aren’t Chelsea.
Tbh this is only my guess based on past experience under MRIf we’re not going to bother winning the tie saves the expense of buying a ticket I suppose.
