Another superfan eh?
Now it really is coming out with you and Grendffy and a few others that in your worlds the only real fans are those that live in Coventry and get to go to games.
True mentality finally showing through.
As one of your other buddies continuously says on here: Get a grip.
Yes, it certainly will have an affect; a team of youth players.
And there you go again, slamming those who choose to support their team. What is wrong with you people?
We all want the same thing.
I just don't believe this campaign is the correct way to go.
NOPM will weaken the club and the playing squad even more. Very easy to log onto a website from elsewhere in the world and criticize.
READ WHAT I SAID FFS!
Bloody Hell - stop reading what you want to read and read what is actually said. Where did I say that you should not give your money to SISU? My exact words were "It will have an effect. And yes - you go give your money to the hedge fund. They will be most grateful to you!" Where the f... am I saying you shouldn't spend your money a you want? Where the f... am I accusing you of being a poor fan? Where the f... am I saying you shouldn't go to games?
I respect your position but your view of support has got precisely nowhere.
We are now faced with an opportunity to turn our support into a proper protest which, because the FL are involved may actually make a real difference.
Think about it.
'I'm in a mood' group

Sick of people like me who don't support a tiny little 'I'm in a mood' group of hardly anyone, who will harm the club more than any shite owners if what they want to do actually happens?
Carry on being sick of me fella. I've no time for people like you.
It was aimed at me wasn't it? I'll gladly take Torchy under my wing and suggest it was aimed at both of us.
Carry on.
Because you do not take the time to consider the long-term consequences.
To my mind and those of others, it is far better to suffer for the short term than to have owners like SISU for the long term. That you are incapable of grasping this point of view is not our fault. That you cannot see that the long term is more important than you sitting in your seat at 3pm on Saturday on the first day on the coming season.
So you may well have no time for people like me, but people like you with your short term attitude will in fact do much more lasting damage imho than those of us that are taking a long term point of view.
Still, you just carry on being blinkered and being sick of people like me and sitting in your seat for the short period of time it might be left to you if you get your way.
Meanwhile the club we all support needs its fans to make a stand.

Well by promoting that "Not one penny more" rubbish your are telling us not to spend money on the club and that would be telling me how to spend my money..
No club because fans decided to stay away rather than support the lads on the pitch..
Who on Earth is telling you to do anything? Where am I telling you?
And consider your answer: "by promoting this Not one penny more rubbish". But in the opinion of many - maybe even a majority - of fans, this is not "rubbish".
That it is "rubbish" is your opinion - and may well be the opinion of a minority. Perhaps you might consider this before trashing other people's opinions/positions.
Rob, I can only speak for myself and I will be going to as many away games as I can do, so I am supporting the lads on the pitch,.i will be going to games I would never have considered going to before this whole shitty mess hit the fan.
It going to cost me more and take much more out of my weekend time to do this , and what I have read on here there are many doing the same ,so we are supporting the lads on the pitch.
If we end up at the Ricoh I would consider going to home games as well on separate matchday ticket basis. I will not even consider going to Walsall or where-ever and that's my stance.
There are very few people refusing to go to any games this season, infact I can't think of one

What many of these Superfans forget is that we too spend money on the club, we too are supporters - some of us for well over half a century.
I pay for the player. I pay for replica shirts and keyrings and books and scarves and caps etc.
Where do these people get off thinking they are the only true fans? This is what angers me more than anything. I wonder how many of these Superfans would still be supporters and still be spending money if they had lived abroad for 35 years and had tried supporting Coventry in the frustrating days before the advent of the Internet.
It is easy for them to be fans when it is easy - wonder how many of these Superfans would still be around if they had to support their team as we had to for so many years.
Patronising prick. I know exactly what is going on and I know what you think the 'in a mood campaign' will achieve. My head isn't in the sand, I just disagree with you.
But what you think will work, will only hurt the club further.
Nothing more to say.
Can't argue with that. If we play home games out of the city I'll only be going to away games too.
My caveat is that we play at the Ricoh. I'm sure all the 'in a mood' campaigners will be attending away games no?
Might struggle to get a ticket for a few of them.

Now we are getting somewhere!
I can agree to disagree without getting "sick" over it.
You may well consider me to be a patronising prick, but I believe I am right and that the longer SISU are here, the worse it will be in the end.
I consider your stance very short-sighted and believe you are wrong and that our club will suffer badly for it, maybe even end up going out of existence. For that reason, I genuinely believe that our gaol should be the long-term point of view and that anything that removes SISU now/in the short term is the right strategy to follow.
We can agree to disagree, even though I might be a sick patronising prick!
95% of the people who support NOPM will be back at the Ricoh at the first sniff of success or will be at Old Trafford, Anfield or Stamford Bridge were we to draw one of them away in the cup. I guarantee it
fair enough going to watch Stevenage and Crawley isn't an attractive proposition but just say that instead of hiding behind NOPM
Nobody is saying you aren't a fan if you are away and unable to go. I missed 3 years when I was in Nottingham at Uni, and that's only 50 miles away. The point is, it is a hell of a lot easier to support a boycott campaign when you can't make it anyway. It also makes the polls false. And saying 'Superfan' makes you come as cross as bitter. Maybe consider moving back here?
Who's to say what the long term or short term view is?
Maybe we manage to wangle a bit of success over the next 2 years under Sisu and they sell and we carry on.
Maybe a boycott kills the club and we don't last until december this year?
You can't say I'm not looking at the long term. Just as I can't say you are.
All I can say is, I believe you are wrong. If you want, I'll get you a key ring and post it to you. *wink smiley*

Fisher and SISU have made it clear on a number of times that they won't sell the club at such a low point as it is worth nothing, our dullard fans think driving the club to an even lower point will make them want to sell
Torch I know you and I don't see eye to eye on the owner issue, but surely even you can see we CAN NOT get any weaker. The club is on it's knees and these gits hijacked our one chance of getting this mess sorted out with new owners. We have no ground we are in administration and under a transfer embargo. Other than the name this club is already dead unless the FL do block them from taking us over.
