what anoys me most about the lack of investment,is that we are not that far off a winning team, just a small investment would surely reap rewards thay must give thorn a chance.

look how much ipswich have spent this summer i am sure we would be going mental if we had lost the last three games like them considering the players they have ,

they must do something quick before the season kicks in properly and teams around us start pulling away,.

come on sisu throw us a bone

I agree off the three games I have seen leicester, bury and brum.
We played decent football in them, a striker to get the goals would give us a decent side, to tell the truth.

Are you mental? I'd say we're a long way off. External turmoil never does anything for results. Expect a rocky Autumn, Winter, Spring and the rest

You are idiots if you think the team is anywhere near to being Championship quality!
If everyone in the squad was fit & it would be mid table to playoffs & that is all.

But that simply isn't going to happen.

Glad someone can see this.

We need strengthening clearly... but we do not need an entire new squad.

4/5 loans would be enough of a boost in my opinion.

What's the main difference in the squad from last season to this........MK9. I'm sorry but a good striker would have gotten us at least 6 points this season. The chances have been created but there is no-one to finish them off.

We will definitely go down with 6 points!!!!

We need an experienced striker to feed off Jutkiewicz's work and an experienced CM to help Clingan and the kids. This would make a world of difference.

You could replace O'Halloran with a shop manikin. McIndoe and Osbourne were also no great loss. But the point remains, when you have no experienced back up in difficult situations then you'll struggle.

In my opinion he is clearly ready and has shone in all 3 games so far, he might just inspire other youngsters to push for places in the side.

Like I said the main difference to the squad since AT's tenure at the end of last season is MK9. The only other is Gunnar, Bigirimana has more than replaced him imo. I'm quite sure that numerous players were injured toward the end of last season too.

Gunnarson, Yep replaced by Bigirimana
Carsley, Injured during AT's tenure
McIndoe, Shite
Osbourne, Wasn't he injured too?
King, My point exactly
O’Halloran Can't remember seeing him either.

To summarise the only player of note that has left since AT took over is MK9. Gunnar has been replaced the others rarely made the first team.

EDIT don't it make you feel old looking at those birthdays. I'm only 27! Surely they aren't right? three kids born within two weeks of each other all breaking into the first team? Is this Wiki info?

Don't forget Westwood. TBF we need to see how Murphy copes. Though I sense he is not as good by what I've seen so far.
Has to be said he could be called at fault the other night.

lots of positive thought here for once....keep it up guys!

I've said it before but like Rich has said, King is the only real one we've missed - Gunnar never lived up to his potential and we were spoilt with Westwood - Murphy may not be quite his standard but is more than capable at this level.

The rest ended up being usurped by better players: O'Halloran by Hussey, Gunnar by Bigi, Carsley by Clingan/Deegan (should he ever return), McIndoe by Christie etc. Platt did very well in the first part of last season but was then kicked out in favour of King. You never know, something made us buy him!

I missed Doyle from my list, he & Carsley (who you rather dismiss out of hand) protected defence in AB's setup & were quite important to our good start last season.
Getting a bad start is bad for morale. I don't for one second agree with your analysis, we are miles away from being competative in the league as our position shows.

Tell me what happy happy drugs you are on, I want some :p

We'll have to agree to disagree, this is my last word now.
