Refusing to pay the rent and ending up in court surely constitutes breaking the law for a start? They also coerced with the FL to break their own rules. Administratively and accounting wise I imagine their tiered layers of deceit if scrutinized would also be sailing close to the wind. God only knows what else they have been up to but it is stunning to think that the totally impartial administrator found them 'Fit and proper' ?!

Was there any proof in the eye of the law that the fatal head shot was fired from the grassy knoll.

Needing proof is not always essential to know something illegal is happening. A blind man in a fog can see that SISU have not played by the book. Only a matter of time, I hope.

Refusing to pay rent isn't breaking the law though is it?

I am not sticking up for anybody but there is a difference between breaching a contract and being morally wrong and breaking the law.

Then they will have proof to back these claims up then surely??

Well of course proof is essential when making accusations like that

People have questioned where they could move their franchised club too. There is a place not too far from where they could move too, indeed not that far from Northampton. The town of Bedford population from 2011 census is approximately 150000 , no football team of any note nearby, not far from London, relatively prosperous and without a football league team. Decent catchment area, and of course much nearer to Fisher's home.

Yes - I am sure they would do that, it makes so much sense.

Of course some people get fed up of NOPM they are the ones that disagree with it. Thankfully a large majority can see this is the time to show some moral backbone and stand up to Sisu.

NOPM

I think you get people wrong and its this NOPM stance against anyone who asks a different question is getting tiresome. Taking the emotion out of it, they havent broken the law as people suggest, yes its not very ethical in what they are doing but to date we have not seen anything that suggests they are law breaking.

Easy to get the 'blinkers' on in this situation, we dont know the details of what occurred behind closed doors apart from the scraps we have been fed. I wont go to Northampton due to cost and time out of my weekend but i am not blind to the process and battles that both parties are fighting here.

Well for the vast majority of fans moving to Northampton makes absolutely no sense, either logically or commercially.

And I think some who think fans will just drift over to Sixfields in numbers are way out of touch. After the publicity and march, the action of getting transport to Sixfields and physically going in to that ground is utterly out of bounds morally to the vast majority of Cov fans. It's also a Coventry pride as much as a football thing.
It ain't gonna happen.

There's nothing immoral with fans wanting to go.

And of course Sisu have broken the law, both in not paying rent per legal contract and in not filing accounts on time as per statute.
A burglar breaks the law by committing the offence not by being found guilty in a court.

It isn't breaking the law to break a contract though?

Not criminal law but there is Contract Law, there is protection regards undermining existing contracts, how that works in ACL's case v NTFC we will find out when it gets to court.

Are you talking criminal or civil laws or perhaps just the laws of common decency. Either way these cretins have offended thousands with their single tracked attempt to take over the Ricoh Arena by distressing another company.
I'm pretty sure it is only a matter of time before they upset the Board and fans of Northampton Town not to mention the general public who are now facing their local authorities paying the extra policing bills etc.
The Football League know they have been made fools of too, not to mention the judge who threw out the 'Judicial review'.
They are immoral and unethical and do not belong at the helm of a community asset, they are not fit and proper they are the height of incompetence at every level.

It will just be a matter of time before people do go back which is what I have said all along, I am not saying everybody but a % of the NOPM shouters will go back if we keep winning and if we ever did get to Wembley it would be rammed with city fans still like the Crewe game was...

When / if the shirt comes out I give it 2 weeks before you see a picture of somebody protesting in the new shirt..

I hope we don't drift to sixfields after all the anguish and hard work put in to let shitsu know our feelings, they will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Stand firm in the short term to achieve a better long term.

Can someone who is a supporter of NOPM answer me a question.

What happens should we make it to Wembley, will you buy tickets and go?

More to the point - would the open top bus parade take place in Northampton or Coventry???

This IS the question.

In all seriousness, it would be a slightly surreal event if miracle of miracles they pulled off a title win, and heroically won a cup when nobody was expecting them to

Lucas shaking Fisher's hand, Seppala milking the fans' applause from the balcony of the city hall, Dulieu making a hero's comeback after making all this possible, being warmly embraced by Mutton...

Of course they would. Whether they'd be brave enough to admit as much on here is a different story.

I normally spend about £1.5k a year with the club (season tickets, occasional corporate hospitality, shirts for the family, multiple programmes per game etc). I am currently spending nothing.

Lets assume that we get to Wembley and let's assume that I cannot resist going even though about 40% (at a guess) of my ticket price will go to the club.

Can you explain how that would make NOPM redundant - other than pedantry about the campaign name and I'm happy to assume you're not that silly.
