Northampton yesterday (1 Viewer)

First of all it was without doubt the best game i've witnessed since the premiership days. Secondly the media are absolute wankers, They take pictures of the stand behind the goal where nobody was. The main stand (Where my season ticket is), Was neally full but they dont take pictures of that do they. If the media are going to report on a story atleast fucking do it properly.

I'm pleased they did it. I'm all for accurate reporting, but on this occasion they can show the empty seats. It's for our benefit in the long term.

Having multiple empty stands in a stadium that holds 7.6k is news even if one stand has a good amount of people in it. Even more the case when the stand with people in it is padded with freebies

Like the BBC said there was 5,000 there when in reality there was nearer 10,000.
The majority of fans were at the Ricoh.
Great day out, drink before hand, good laugh at the match, a few tears, casino afterwards.

Drink before hand...................not to mention the one in the seats !!! Now that was a novelty, being treated like a grown up { Or a Rugby Union fan} and being able to have a cheeky beer whilst watching some football.

What's the story with this little boxout I saw on the BBC Sport report?

So, we have our own version of Wimbledon's Murray Mount now? If so then I propose it be referred to as The Jimmy Hill.

I posted the following video link on another thread. It shows the Sixfields crowd (from what I think is the Bristol end) as the players run out for kick off. Personally, I would be hard pressed to call that main stand "nearly full". I would say about one-third at best.

Meanwhile, at Sixfields as the teams come out:

Edit: Actually, watching it again I'd argue a quarter at best is closer to the mark.

EGSB,
I won't criticise you in any way for exercising your right to support our team. You have made your decision to continue to support them despite the situation, but please try not to make a positive about any of the off-field stuff at Sixfields. The crowd figure, doubled by the Bristol fans, is hopefully not going to be enough to sustain SISU, although I don't hold my breath.
My support will be at away games (NOT Northampton....) only.

I think that shows it for the farce it was. Solid blocks of BCFC fans and a scattering of friends, family, club officials, coaches, freebies and a handful of supporters in the main stand. Shameful !!
Trouble is Timmy, very few will bring away support with them like that, it'll be down to 1400 before you know it !

SISU sell out!!!!!!

Also how can you say how great it was? We effectively threw away a 3 goal lead and scraped the win!

Sorry, although I do not agree with those who went to Northampton yesterday we must all respect there views. I am sure all those who went are as anti our owners and want to return to Coventry as those of us at Ricoh yesterday.
Lets all stick together and respect everyones views.
Personally and only my own views I may go to Northampton but will never go into the Stadium.

Eastern, you're clutching at straws. We've seen pictures of the main stand, it was very empty.
We're not coming to Sixfields, crowds will be down to 750 very soon.

Firstly, can I take this opportunity to thank you for helping to kill our club. Secondly, there were 1,000 officially reported Coventry 'fans' in the stadium which includes corporates, family/friends ST freebies and the free tickets given away with STs. So, maybe 600 fans actually paid to be at the game?

How are you not ashamed to be part of this fucking charde? OUR CLUB IS BEING KILLED!

I'm just thankful that the overwhelming majority of Coventry supporters are doing the right thing.

The attendance was pathetic. Photos are irrelevant when we have the crowd figure. Wait until the winter, mid-week games, JPT games and visiting teams who don't bring as many fans as BCFC and crowds will fall further.
