what's the stance towards people who give money to SISU through matchday sponsorship etc?

Let's boycott the world.

Anybody who has a board at northampton, anybody who sponsors the club or anybody who calls Tim Fisher by his actual name rather than Timmy.

Be careful of harrassment laws?

I haven't done anything yet! Just wondered if any thought had been put into it. I certainly won't be giving any business to anyone who chooses to give SISU money and may well let them know that, politely of course, but didn't know if there was any 'official' stance from those behind the campaign.

that's not what I said. clearly they aren't going to keep taking the advertising boards down. I'm talking about people dealing directly with SISU such as matchday sponsors.

I once visited Northampton and am boycotting myself at present. I even refuse to get in my car which had the temerity to take me there for non football activities.

Where did anyone say anything about that? Pre-emptive over-reaction alert!

Just getting it in early.

If somebody is sponsoring CCFC and getting a decent ROI from it then what is the issue? To them it would be about business?

that's kind of my point. If NOPM is about starving SISU of income therefore you would assume you would not want businesses putting money into them. The way to achieve that is to make sure there is no ROI on that investment and if anything they lose business and get negative publicity.

I would imagine the club programme would be a good place to start. Did anybody from the Coventry area place an advert? It is hard to imagine so, problem is who actually has got a programme.

I would have thought that the club itself is doing the biggest boycott of sponsors by getting relegated, moving to Sixfields and alienating fans..... all things to cool any sponsors interest

'In the Coventry Area' is becoming a standard phrase isn't it.

'Where are you from then mate?'

'Oh, I'm from the Coventry Area'

If only they did Dilbert for the Coventry City saga.

It was actually a tweet from the club that set me thinking. Something about MOTM chosen by matchday sponsor HWD Solutions.

i sponsored CCFC in the vibrant days of the arrival at the ricoh.. with 20k fans in the stadium.. and didnt get anywhere near a decent ROI!!

so i think its safe to say that now is not the time to be getting a ROI at Coventry ( or Northampton )
