So to support the above campaign we should be giving no money to sisu is that correct?

Under my understanding the NOPM campaign was create while coventry were planning on playing games away from the ricoh.

So yes NOPM while SISU plan on playing "Home" games at sixfields

As I understand it, the object of the campaign is to reduce the income to Otium by as much as possible.

My interpretation of that is to cancel Sky Blue Player, not buy my usual season tickets, not attend any home games or away cup games and not buy the usual family presents from the club shop.

I imagine that other people may interpret it differently.

the chances of us having a big cup game are extremely slim....we will enter both the FA and league cup at an early stage with a poor squad...we will be lucky if we proceed beyond the first one or two games in either.

Wahey, we've had the first condition added to the unconditional call to pledge Not One Penny More towards SISU

I think it's always been fairly clear that there were some people who follow NOPM only while the club is playing in Northampton and others who intend to follow it until SISU have gone.

I suppose we should be pleased that in this mess that is our football club, you can find such pleasure in that fact.

That was my interpretation too... although the pedant in me has to point out I assume you meant it's not to attend away cup games or home ones either ;)

So I assume that it is not a total boycott then. Away teams I believe can claim 6.5% of income from tickets sold. So should it be Not One Penny above 6.5% instead?

I'm pretty sure it started as a never give any money ever, ever, ever type campaign.

Then the trust adopted it and ran it alongside keep Coventry in Coventry, and the message got confused.

Whatever the variations, it identifies Sisu as the core problem [everyone agrees with that right?] and proposes using the stick of withdrawing revenue to pressure them- because they dont listen to anything else.

Sounds good to me.

As 6.5 pence in the pound is acceptable I assume the purchase of club merchandise could also be as the margins on such products tend to be very marginal - certainly on shirts - the manufacturer and supplier command a huge take.

Is that 6.5% of all tickets sold for the game, or just away tickets, or just away tickets sold by the away club?

It did - and the loudest advocates on here will still give sisu money.

I thought it was not one penny more to a company created by a council and a charity so that the local football team to have use of a stadium after it's previous owners sold their old one.

Yep, that's how I remember it. The NOPM campaign has turned into a bit of a farce - no one knows what it stands for or what's it's aims are. There are too many variations.

It has always been NOPMDUTC and not NOPM anyway.

Not One Penny More Dependent Upon The Circumstances.

I don't believe that for a second, if the club make anything like as low as 6.5% on a £45 shirt that in reality cost about a quid to make then they are very very stupid indeed.

I'd have thought there'd be a huge mark-up on shirts etc.

Think they probably still make a profit on them when they flog them for a tenner at the end of the season.

Some poor bastard in Bangladesh is the one suffering in this case.

From my understanding all away cup games the away team get a percentage of the gate,so if true then why have we sold over 1,000 tickets for orient?

I wont be buying any ccfc merchandise and wont be going to any " home" games. I will be attending away games only.

Will not apply to me, I know a chap who will go home games regardless and is getting a season ticket and has said I can have his free carer ticket for each away game, il just get him a beer or 3 to thank him for his generosity :)
