Why misogynist? i would have the same view if it was a male PD.

Trouble with iPads is people having their nose buried in them and not seeing what is actually happening around them in the real world.

The iPads will have shown 70% possession against Derby. We hardly won a second ball. We lost.

Are you happy with the new training wear or do you think the staff should hunt and kill animals to create their own furs?

Is there a specific level of technology or maybe period in time you’d be happy with?

It’s getting like a QAnon forum on here, and for some reason there’s a witch-hunt for Dr Claire, why’s it all her fault? The players and the coaches and the manager are all partly responsible.

Yes, maybe Dr Claire hasn’t implemented some things correctly, but how do we know who’s exactly to blame for a downturn in form? Dr Claire came in, new coaches came in, Lawrence left, left Viveash, Robins then on his own to figure tactics out etc etc, it’s impossible to know the exact reason we’ve been so inconsistent this season/last season. There’s so many little details that are going on in the background, blaming the introduction of iPads just seems ludicrous to me.

I had added to the post

”In truth the iPads are emblematic of changes which do not seem to have benefited results”

But we didn’t did we? The official stance was he took on a new role.

it’s only Gimoc who’s spouting the “we got rid” stance and his take on the clubs business is sketchy at best

I spoke to the CEO of a leading EFL club last night, who I know through business.

He said there is a feeling in the game that Robins does best when there is little expectation upon him or the team and everything is upside, but copes less well when the pressure is on him to achieve.

I thought it was an interesting observation.

The official stance could well be bollocks.
And it's not only gimoc though I can't say it's certain we got rid of him but given what's gone on subsequently its not hard to believe

Viveash could of been let go for non football reasons
We sold or let go older players that aren't good enough
We tried to use the load market, we had a player joining on load but he then got injured.

Said it on another post but I don’t get the structure of the club.

There’s Head Coach, Performance Director then Head of Recruitment. Are they all equal or is one above the others? In that sort of setup I’d expect a director of football but looks like they all report to Doug independently; Doug who admits he doesn’t know much about football.

Recruitment so far looks poor. Energy levels, injuries and hitting the ground running this season hasn’t happened so performance director doesn’t look like they are hitting target. Then the on pitch performances, formations, substitutions haven’t given us results so coach has lost his job.

If we put a new coach in with the current setup does he instantly carry the can if he’s had to work with the staff we’ve got or do we then look at the other leadership roles.

Thats been my nagging worry also. I didn't want him sacked, but it was clear we was struggling, granted a lot down to all the off field change especially.

BUT he as never managed at this level, with this expectation and thats the concern.

The head coach should be a level down as they normally report into a SD/FOD

So one minute you're saying don't believe the ITKs on the forum.
Then I respond to one with a quote from a journalist and you're siding with the ITK, (or seemed to be)

he wasn’t offered a new contract

if you’ve not been offered a new contract you leave

I know for some that’s hard to grasp but that’s the reality

what’s aired in public isn’t necessary what happens behind the scenes

Yet it’s only when people raise concerns about her stated role in the papers people get all up in arms. She’s a woman not an endangered species. She can be criticised. The other coaches are as well and they don’t get people popping up with sad faces saying we shouldn’t do it.
Some of the criticism of her is clearly gendered though. The appointment of a former Premier League executive to oversee sports science at the club should hardly be considered a controversial appointment, but people are still questioning her credentials. There’s an inherent mistrust and doubt about her role not only because it’s coincided with a dip in form, but also because she’s a woman working in a business that almost always hires men. I’m not saying that’s the world’s greatest injustice, nor am I saying she should be immune from criticism over the things she controls, but I don’t thing you can totally ignore that aspect either.
