He moved to America as it was best for his family. There was still time for him to be offered something if he wanted to stay?

And according to Robins he told him he wanted to leave after the play off final… 2 months prior to you saying he’d signed a new contract, and was waiting for the shirt release

Utd didn't stop their players from speaking about Ten Haag last week.

I'm pretty sure it's not normal practice TBF as any time I've seen a 'big name' manager go, I always seem to see player responses in the media shortly after.

Not saying it's right or wrong, just an observation.

Jesus some of the views on here are from the 1980’s. It’s like Jurassic park.

We were materially under invested under SISU and Robns kept calling it out. That’s why we didn’t have many of the additions we have today. It was nothing to do with City being “different” or Robins not wanting these things. It was just about the lack of money.

It could be argued that the belief that there is a need for a Director of Performance undermines the manager’s position.
Also someone that snowflake players can go to to complain about being worked to hard or people saying mean things to them on the training pitch.

I spoke to the CEO of a leading EFL club last night, who I know through business.

He said there is a feeling in the game that Robins does best when there is little expectation upon him or the team and everything is upside, but copes less well when the pressure is on him to achieve.

I thought it was an interesting observation.

Players will need our support as some of them will have been as gobsmacked as we are - no good getting on their backs - they are here for the rest of our season - the support for Robins in terms of the decision making should be loud and clear but there’s no going back

Not necessarily - people like Adam Hearn and the club doctor would report to her she’d then pass the data on to Robins to do as he will

It's interesting that PL teams haven't made serious attempts to poach him and I think it's quite telling. It will be interesting to see where he goes next if he stays in the game.

It’s getting like a QAnon forum on here, and for some reason there’s a witch-hunt for Dr Claire, why’s it all her fault? The players and the coaches and the manager are all partly responsible.

Yes, maybe Dr Claire hasn’t implemented some things correctly, but how do we know who’s exactly to blame for a downturn in form? Dr Claire came in, new coaches came in, Lawrence left, left Viveash, Robins then on his own to figure tactics out etc etc, it’s impossible to know the exact reason we’ve been so inconsistent this season/last season. There’s so many little details that are going on in the background, blaming the introduction of iPads just seems ludicrous to me.

Why has he let DL go but then let other coaches be promoted from within?

Some have spun it as him wanting a clean slate but it doesn’t make sense.

What I can believe is King has tried to build a full team but on a budget. Not nefarious but could have backfired and upset Robins. That would track with Robins saying he had a say in who was hired etc.

And not one person critical of the new coaches and positions can tell you what the day to day roles of these people are.

the one thing I am perplexed about is why the goalkeeping coach is taking defensive training.

Why misogynist? i would have the same view if it was a male PD.

Trouble with iPads is people having their nose buried in them and not seeing what is actually happening around them in the real world.

The iPads will have shown 70% possession against Derby. We hardly won a second ball. We lost.

Yes, they would show we lost.

After the event, when it’s to late to do anything about it.

I think an iPad is a little different to a notepad. It will be being populated with all sorts of real time data taking attention away from what is actually happening on the pitch.

In truth the iPads are emblematic of changes which do not seem to have benefited results,

the fact she’s a female is an issue for some.

I don’t like the lazy comments which clearly are directed because she’s a female.

of course she’s not immune for critique, but no one has any basis to do that as no one knows what’s going on.

Yet it’s only when people raise concerns about her stated role in the papers people get all up in arms. She’s a woman not an endangered species. She can be criticised. The other coaches are as well and they don’t get people popping up with sad faces saying we shouldn’t do it.
