So after Ricketts' red card we will need to shuffle the pack at the back. In hindsight, it might not be a bad thing. Not that we'll not miss Ricketts, but the defence has needed something done to it of late.

Post match CWR only asked about Phillips and Nowbray said he hopes to be back training this week.

Is he the answer?

What is up with the new lad? Is he not fit, and like Cole needs time away from the first team to lead him up to getting a game?

Tbf I did wonder after I posted this if it was 2 X yellow type suspension that takes place atleast 7 days after the event occurring? So had it been yesterday he'd have missed next Saturday, but as its occurred on a Sunday it won't take place until after next Sunday? That what they saying to (probably explained a little easier by them mind)

Yeah. Straight red is next game, 2 yellows slightly different procedure.

we have 2 U21 games before xmas surely Lorentzon would be fit by then? Must have had 3 weeks training now at least including his trial and has played at least 2 games for the U21s already too.

Phillips isn't good enough at this level unfortunately.

Lid rather go with him for his experience, albeit not in the English leagues, but while Phillips is having an indifferent season, I'd rather go with someone who is older and wiser.

martin also looks better with experience around him too, rather than kids.
