Any possibility of some Doug King merchandise? Thinking t-shirts, I'm picturing a print of his face on the King of Clubs playing card but even something as simple as a big picture of his head wearing a crown with the words 'long live the King' would do.
Let me know your size mate.

If Lampard did meet Doyle and his agent in a swanky London restaurant and he doesn’t sign will we be invoicing him for their meals (plus tip)?

This is clueless comedy gold!

My mate is Liverpool STH and opts into auto-cup schemes every season and every FA/Carabao and European game is taken straight out of his account whenever Liverpool are drawn at home and tickets go on sale

GDPR is a bit of a cop out from the club, it probably isn't a viable thing to spend time and effort doing, Liverpool are obviously going to play more cup games than us a season for example, we probably play about two

This “option” has been there and unused since we started with Ticketmaster . I suspect it’s no more than an option that some clubs use and therefore was already in the software we bought.

Questions to supporters forum

What’s the current position regarding the lease and/or ownership of the cbs?

Are there any more plans to enhance the training facilities including moving to site that can accommodate the academy?

What plans are in place to improve the fan experience for the season?

What is the current capacity of the stadium?

Can the stadium advisory group minutes be shared by the club?

Thanks for doing this Pete.

Got a last min one following the news today.

Could the club confirm how many category A+ games it intends to have following the ticket news?

Could you ask about STs being taken off sale before they sold out? Clearly it was because they only had singles, which seems to have left a couple of thousand on the table and now high ticket prices for them.

Any plans to either reduce seats on their own somehow or open up more space next season, perhaps tell the sky cameramen to do one or sell all the seats in the South Stand. Or just let people buy singles. Was the cap properly worked out considering this or should it have been lower?

They’re still for sale aren’t they?

Hi everyone
Was a good meeting last night
Nicola ibbotson and Paul Tyrrel were both there with mark and Doug and the club ship guy Raz

No particular highlights
I said on a thread that Doug was very relaxed and spoke about a continued operational loss of £6-8m which hasn’t really changed despite significantly more on the football budget each year. Got the impression he recognises that to step up even more he needs to delegate more of the coo and the business roles to experts hence them coming in.

answers to questions were all reasonable some push back on not letting players interact outside with fans on match day

on the lease this is one area where I am a dog with a bone and I won’t let it drop as we know what happens when there’s no solution and Northampton and Birmingham were shit and we mustn’t get to that situation again

Nothing further to report the arena know what the club need and want. When pushed Doug would prefer the club to own the stadium rather than agree a lease. I did cheekily ask whether he had a figure in mind which he didn’t answer. I didn’t really want a figure I just wondered if he had one in mind.

we will get a small fine shortly for not having an agreement in place for 10 years and we are moving into the last 3 years of the deal. The club are spending money on the pitch and floodlights and turnstiles so are really showing their commitment

not much else reallly road closures will happen again, Judds lane will be a no stopping zone so that needs sorting for those who can’t walk far.

shuttle buses will continue with a small charge but still subsidised.

im hoping a small group can be set up to brainstorm ideas to add to the memorial wall as the club has no plans to extend this seemed to be well receiwbd

Asked about the cycling and just having chips. The cycling will be signposted better and hopefully better facilities will be made available with the arena. You can get just chips

I’ll share notes as soon as they are agreed

Still, good news about the chips though.

Anyone remember seeing all the cycles behind the terraced houses alleys? Was it the Sky Blues stand you could see them from?

I think he’s growing into his role
He’s confident that we are increasing the value of the asset and they won’t want us to leave
However frasers group can do what they want and that scares me shitless

It strikes me as he is trying to make it more valuable but also then claim we have a significant investment in it and wants a fair price to purchase it outright

King isn't an idiot. I doubt he's spending the money he is on the things like turnstile upgrades without some assurances of our future or some sort of security on the money being spent. That would be absolutely mental.

I think if this was any other club that hadn't been through what we have it wouldn't even register as a concern as it makes no sense for someone who owns a football stadium to kick the football club that plays in it out. We're just paranoid because the council happily screwed us over on more than one occasion.

I hope so
That’s what some think
Some others really don’t

I'm fairly confident it will be settled at some point either in the club's favour or the Fraser's group!
That's my honest opinion.
I can see a merger coming with Fraser group having to 20 to 25% of the shares and a seat on the board. If they ever wanted to takeover then they'd be in a good position. And also in a good position to cash in, along with King, if we were ever the subject of a takeover from a third party.

Think frasers are premier league in hard headedness not sure Doug and ccfc are

Do you think he’d only want to own the stadium aspect and they keep the exhibition halls and maybe rights to concerts in the stadium in the off season? Would that even be practical? There doesn’t seem to be much incentive for them to sell the whole complex.

Ashley won't buy another football club, he invests in property assets including the CBS.

Mental that we're paying big money for facilities like turnstiles.

I wouldn't pay my landlord for a new door because it's too old.
