Which is why I don't think we should have abandoned that formation totally, I think it would have come in handy in some of the games we've struggled in away from home.
But Lampards committed to 4 3 3 so that's where we are.
Hopefully summer recruitment will help us in the type of games we struggled in going forward.

Sakamoto also hit some good form too. We had people calling out for 5-3-2 when we had no cover there or at RWB.
The run at 5-3-2 was a pleasant surprise but imo, we reverted back to 4-3-3 at the right time because it suited the personnel.
Let’s not forget we got great home results playing that system.
Carlton morris for me if we’re playing that type of football again,Inmean if your game is around getting crosses into the box you don’t want to drop your wingers right? I agree I thought we looked better going more direct away from home.
