Taking your kids to the football is what us dads do and have always done,it's a generation thing.
My dad took me as a kid and I carried it on with mine.if it feels right and your son or daughter wants to go then go ahead.
Because if that stops we won't have any fans for the future, whatever that will be !

Spot on that is

My dad helped teach me right from wrong, it's a generation thing. He taught me as a kid, and I carried it on with mine. If that stops whatever will the future be?

I,am convinced that CCFC's next home will be the Ricoh Arena.WHY,sisu need to make a return on investors outlay,
building a League 2/ Conference size ground will not attract investors willing to pay anywhere near sisu's
mounting losses.

Therefore their only chance is a return to the Ricoh, buy back the lost revenue streams and possibly gain the
car parks, and try to gain promotion this season. With the football the team are playing the crowds would return
and revenue would increase dramatically.

This would be the ethical way of solving all of our problems.

I read the topics on here everyday but don't tend to post but i would like to share my view. I am trying to keep my 8 year old son interested in ccfc. I grew up watching a top flight team that had a fan base, an was able to attract a reasonable level of support after good sides it produced in the 70's 80's an 90's. But how does a club in the 3rd tier of English football attract new generation of support if it distances the currant fans ( the ones who suffer in all this row) by playing in Northampton. I blame both sides in the currant situation an there failure to put past events behind them an do right for the fans, club an city. I take my son to away games that we can attend an thanks to Steven pressley, an our 1st half of season free scoring form, Arron Phillips goal at wolves, maguire's free kicks at mk he's still a cov fan!!! He motivated me to take him to barnsley in the cup as he has the bug for ccfc, the players an the atmosphere we create at games like the second half at barnsley, an when Leon scored the winner!!! This great mentality Steven pressley has brought into our club an ability to come from behind to win games is enough for now to keep him interested an away from Chelsea, Man city, utd...... He even wants to play as ccfc on fifa, he is still proud to support cov when all his mates follow bigger clubs. But for how long!!! I wish I could of continued taking him to all our home games so he can watch this fantastic young team develop. Ccfc need to come back soon to keep players like Leon, Wilson, Murphy, fleck an Thomas at our club an to bring back better times we no!! How long will Steven pressley himself stay an keep on motivating our young squad to play at the heartless sixfields. ACL an SISU need to act soon to bring the heart of the club, the fans, generations new an old! PUSB

Take him to Sixfields, may not be a great atmosphere and the ground is poor but he can watch his/ your team and hopefully feel part of the SBA.
I go and watch most games on the hill and have always said that anyone with children should go in, we need to try and keep the future involved.
My view is that the vast majority of those who do enter the venue do not actually wish to be in Northampton but it's all about a personal choice.
As supporters we are in a very difficult place, we either give up, do something else or fight the plight. For me, I get my fix by watching my team from the hill in Northampton and going to every away game., my choice.

If you keep thinking like this the situation will send you mental. There will be no ethical way of ending this, ethics and football don't mix these days, and maybe never have.

He's 7, he doesn't understand the politics, but he picks things up and is always shouting "SISU OUT!" at home. But we go to Sixfields to see his heroes, so really that's all he cares about. And that's the way it should be. The grown ups can fight and argue about it.

He must ask the question about why he is watching Coventry 35 miles away in Northampton. What do you tell him?

Funny how most of us that stand on the hill have the same opinion yet we are classed as the trouble makers and idiots but hay ho will keep going for the rest of this season.

You know my opinion of the man however I'm glad that he's taking his son and that he carries on doing so.

By the way all you hillers are troublemakers and idiots and Mr Fishers dossier on you is expanding by the game. Hope you're prepared to take the flak thats going to come your way when this all goes tits up:eek:
