takw it 1 game at a time, accrington is huge because after that we have a break frm league games to focus on 2 cup competitions that whilst may not define our season can definitely make it more fun!

Last time we played them the right-hand side of our team consisted of Kelly-evans and Maguire-drew followed by Vincenti in the second half - I think we've improved a bit since then.

You joking? Nearly everytime he played he was at fault for a goal -mainly due to really bad positioning.

We have a much better chance of winning on Saturday than we did last season when we were decimated by injuries to key players.
Our confidence is sky high too remember!

No, not joking. I thought he was a really whole hearted player, tigerish in the tackle and a little unlucky to be released.I hope he gets the chance to play league football again.

I know I’m a cockeyed optimist but with the squad we have and the way we are gelling I don’t see any reason why we can’t win this league. I’m bound to be laughed at as usual but let’s see time will tell. There is nothing quite like teams getting in the habit of winning. How many times have we seem teams getting successive promotions? Aside from that my other wish is to see Fatty Evans sacked at Peterborough. I hope we can play a part in that.

I've just spent 4 days with my wife and boy in Tewkesbury (the caravan site by the abbey) Should have remembered there was a fellow Sky Blue there! Too late to buy you a beer - sorry! Hope you are right about this season!

We are good enough to get results from any team in this league of course we won’t win them all but no reason why this undefeated run can’t go on and on, it did in 1967.

I go to every game hoping for a win, the side seem to have found their form as a unit, and hopefully can win again Saturday. I'm getting a bit too old for the one up last ten minutes of nail biting time, but if that's what it takes to gain promotion I'll take it every week

Burton away is going to be very tough they are hitting some form. I see a draw at best there ! really think they are in a false position, they will be challenging for top 6 imo!

Said this on an earlier thread (about them doing well this season) - they have one or two injuries, though. Ben Turner out at the moment - hoping he stays out until after we play them (or plays when he is unfit!!)

It’s a tricky run of games, Accrington are a good outfit, as you say Burton are coming good. Peterborough are very good away from home, Fleetwood are hit and miss but a good side for the league on paper. Walsall going well, Luton are up with us and Shrewsbury turned a corner too

Yes, does that automatically mean we’re gonna win the league then and go unbeaten? We’ve all enjoying the run and all very happy but it can all know it change in a game

To me it says we’ve had a great October and confidence should be high in the camp but all that can change in a matter of games and be undone with some daft poor results.

Let’s not jump the gun, on anything after a great month heading into a tricky run of games starting today with Accrington.

How we fairing on predictions?

At a glance I think most went with 4 points from the Accrington and Burton games.

Based on that - we're crap at predicting. Always expect the unexpected following City!

I hoped I’d be wrong with my points projection for November but seems I was bang on with a disappointing month.

October had us in false hope.

I have seen many comments on various threads with people imo getting somewhat carried away. Now, yes - even I was hopeful & excited by a good winning streak. But as a city fan, we all must expect a vurtually equal & opposite run at some stage...it is what we do! So I have been looking at the table thinking not about automatic promotion, nor about play-offs - but the potential of relegation. We are nowhere near safety on the pitch yet points-wise...& as for off it? Let's not go there!
