i hate to be the one to tell you this but ACL have made more than 1 reduced rent offer and knocked over £1M off in the process, sisu are yet to respond to any of them so if negotiations aren't happening the party to put pressure on would have to be sisu.

Or how about both? Both is way too sensible. Let's have a go at Sisu about it.

the ball is in sisu's court. they seem to be able to rent suxfields in the short term so why not the ricoh? they could at least make a counter offer rather than deny an offer was ever made at all. it seems they could even do this through the FL as they seem willing to act as a go between given that they forwarded the last offer from ACL to sisu.

Agreed, I can see any reason why SISU shouldnt speak to ACL about a short term agreement until the ground is built.

1 of the deals was put to the administrator, who was apparently running the club at the time (or at least the bit with the original rent agreement in) so there is some logic in offering it to the administrator.

For the 2nd time today I have to apologise for being the one bringing you up to speed but there was a further rent offer made to sisu through the FL which the fans who have been paying attention heard about second hand through journalists David Conn. Sisu first denied it was made and then back tracked by saying that no "direct" offer was made.

When sisu use the last offer as starting point to negotiate a return to the ricoh if only on a temporary basis and ACL don't respond I will then turn my scorn on ACL and PWKH. On that you have my word.

Is this the rent agreement whose details PWKH is "unable" to disclose?

I am not bothered by boundaries but convenience. If we played Meriden, Balsall common or Dorridge it'd nearer toe than the Ricoh, it could be in the City Boundary but further, this ultimately means nothing.

I would imagine that the details have been disclosed to sisu. They could always disclose them in full if they're that unfavourable, could be a good PR scoop for them. Strange they haven't?

Don't be so arrogant to assume you understand thousands of people's emotional attachments and the reasons thereof.

One thing I've been trying to do is imagine I trust fisher and labovitch and see things from theirs and the owners point of view.

I would find it easy to see that the rent was too high, that there is an argument to say that without access to increased funds from the complex the club will never compete at the top or middle of the championship and that the whole football system is broken when Cardiff receive £62m for finishing bottom of the top division.

However I just cannot understand or defend anything about moving to Northampton and building a new ground outside of Coventry.

And for that reason I am out until sense prevails
