Ugh, I'm simply... disappointed? ?... about the whole notion of a new stadium on principle.
I can understand that different parties have different opinions about values, revenue streams, etc. But, WTF! There is a perfectly good stadium being unused... Makes no sense to me...
Feel free to bash on me, I can only complain and not offer any actionable recommendations.

Don't worry, there will be no new stadium.

I actually hope now this happens. If development on the land then actually happens and the ground takes place I can buy a season ticket for Sixfields.

Everyone then has a choice do that or support Leicester city at the Ricoh.

No RFC is I have frequently said in my view not a supporter of the club - I do not believe he attends matches.

What's stopping you from buying one now?

Because its a absurd situation which I refuse to countenance unless there is a specified endgame to return to the Coventry area. If this us confirmed then I will return and I assume those who don't will form a Pheonix club and au elsewhere. Those who support the Ricoh I assume will become familiar with The Foxes.

You know what the specific endgame is. It is plan B.

I enjoyed you using the phrase 'Coventry area', are you trying to get an invite onto the stadium committee?

I am not bothered by boundaries but convenience. If we played Meriden, Balsall common or Dorridge it'd nearer toe than the Ricoh, it could be in the City Boundary but further, this ultimately means nothing.

I'd be inclined to agree if I thought there was a real need to do so, but I don't buy the argument that SISU are putting forward. The links to Coventry would diminish further though, we don't train in Cov, wouldn't play in Cov, most players seem to not want to live in Cov (that's the bit I find most odd). If it wasn't for the Cov lads playing would there be any link left (apart from Sky Blue Sam and Oggy)?

Wish you hadn't mentioned Sky Blue Sam and Oggy. If Sisu see your post their time at CCFC will be limited.

If its outside the boundaries its no longer Coventry city.

I would no longer support them as in my eyes the club would be dead.

As for the club that would be masquerading as Coventry City, I would take great pleasure is seeing its downfall.

Same here . Unfortunately that would be the time for me to move on . The new club would be tarnished as Sepalla 's child !

You find this odd? Would most people earning a (relatively speaking) huge salary choose to live in a miserable city when they can live somewhere nicer and more affluent in the surrounding area?

In short, no. And I dont blame them.

Miserable city?

There are many worse cities than Coventry. But of course it depends on where you want to live and bring your kids up. I would be happy to live in Coventry again, but I am happy with my job and wouldn't want to bring my kids up in any city.

Tim Fisher in Cov Tel 18th May 2013 -
“People have to understand we do not posture, we do not threaten, because that is not how you do business, you only do business in good faith. Always.“We have started the process of procuring land so that we can shift the new stadium build forward at a pace. The stadium will be in the Coventry area in accordance with Football League rules.

11 months later, still no land procured. Hardly "at pace"

And when you tie this in with the Judicial Review - at SISU's cost - relating to a stadium they've 'moved on' from. What conclusion can be drawn?

In fact. Stop there. In light of Labrovich's statement today; what the hell was the move to Northampton about?!?

I have also been somewhat puzzled for about 10 months why Coventry City are playing in Northampton .

Does anyone know why?

unless he says they have moved on from ricoh in which case we must take it as gospel and refuse to put any pressure on acl to negotiate.

In fairness, I don't think anybody thought it would next month or three months. You'd do well to buy a house in that time scale.

Some don't believe in it at all and they stand a good chance of being right.

So you are expecting his quote to improve with age? Fisher is in the whine business, not the wine business.

i hate to be the one to tell you this but ACL have made more than 1 reduced rent offer and knocked over £1M off in the process, sisu are yet to respond to any of them so if negotiations aren't happening the party to put pressure on would have to be sisu.
