Brighton tipping us to sign their striker Gyokeres on loan. Played with Østigård at St Pauli last year.

My bad, should have put the word “fans” in there. There’s nothing to the rumour really other than speculation, but they are saying it makes sense for him to follow Østigård

We have lots of games and need depth of squad to do well in this league. Players will need to be rested as we have two games a week for large parts of the season. We will also have the play off games. We are going up!

Top signing. One of the best upcoming CB’s in Europe. He isn’t here for cover. We know Rose won’t be fit for the start so Leo, Kyle, Dom to start. Question is when Rose is back will Kyle drop out? Anyway, healthy competition in the CB position now.

To be fair, there’s this when you look up up Ostigard, so could make sense...

Not a chance.

If Rose is still out injured he's next choice to come in. No idea how an ageing Fadz will cope with the increased speed of the Championship so may end up needing a quicker option for him.

Also was brought in originally as RB cover for Dabo who's been injured and had little pre-season (now training but no game time) and the back-up is now out long term so he's arguably first back up there as well. Plus can play at DCM where we've got Kelly, who always picks up an injury or two making him unavailable for a few weeks and Hamer who sounds like he might pick up a few cards. Other than that it's Eccles.

So if anything purely his versatility makes him an almost certainty to be on the bench. If any go out it'll be Drysdale, Williams and Thompson.

If he can get himself off the treatment table, that would be nice.

We keep hearing about this potential he has though and how is he supposed to develop with another season on the bench/with the 23s? He’s barely played any football outside of CCFC as it is. Loan with a recall clause?

Basically anyone who works for MarketInsights is a good follow. I’d recommend @Blades_Analytic for EFL stuff, he’s been doing for years and got hired to be part of Peterborough’s recruitment team off the back of his work on Twitter. @ScoutXd1 wrote a great article about us last week as well.

I know St Pauli we’re dead keen on keeping this lad after his loan. I reckon this is yet another masterstroke from Robins and his team

Im starting to think he will be let go. The apparent talent isn't coming to the fore he's constantly injured ffs

Yup 4 starters on paper and then backup that could step up in Drysdale Thompson Williams and pask. Maybe sent Thompson or Williams on loan

At the moment he's probably first cover for at least two, if not three, positions. A couple of injuries/suspensions to any of about 6 players and he's more than likely to come in.

He'll end up getting a fair amount of gametime IMO.

Better Days said he isn’t a wing back didn’t he? And Robins hasn’t used him as a defensive midfielder either, you’d think pre season is a perfect time if he sees him playing there. Which leaves centre back

Don’t get the shouts for pask to go on loan on here, feel like he would be 5th choice at centre half and is likely to start the season at rwb, not his natural position but I felt he played well there last season when called upon.

That’s why I think a loan with a recall clause would be good for him and the club, he’s 22 and played 17 league games, he needs to play some games somewhere. Jones and Shipley are the same age and have played over 100 league games already

And a midfielder for base of box. Only have hammer and Kelly? Then it's down to eccles

I don't like seeing Allen or Shipley there. They are more attack minded

Walsh loan and we will get to prem!

Delighted with this, he walks straight into the team. We have hyam, McFaz who I like but is 2 bad games away from being “too old”, pask who is yet to have a run in the team and is needed at right wb, rose injured, da Costa injured and the 2 kids who are likely to be loaned out.

this signing very much strengthens the team. Walsh and a prem striker on loan and ready to go

He isn't a wing back by nature but MR brought him as cover for the right defensive position. And if that is the biggest problem position right now and where he thinks he's most likely to be playing then it's where he'll put him in.

CDM is absolute emergency and it has seemed for sometime MR was looking for extra cover here with the Sheaf rumours but nothing has happened yet. Not to say it won't.

But there's no way Pask is even remotely likely to be going out unless we bring in another DCM AND a RWB. Even then it's an outside chance.

If he's a good passer, could he fill the role intended for Sheaf?
