Has anyone noticed on the club shop website the new home kit says 13/15?

It's not the best of kits, and yet they are keeping it for 2 seasons, why?

Because we didn't get it until October. Nobody would buy a half-season kit, but a 2 season kit seems appealing.

Besides I like the kit. Looks really nice without the sponsor imo.

Probably because it's took them half a season (ok, slight exaggeration) to release it? Bit harsh on the people who buy it to wear it just for a few months! I guess.

Also might be related to the sponsorship as the charity is only on for 3 months?

Theres no point in just having a shirt for half a season so I can see why they are doing it. Its actually quite a nice shirt, but I wont be buying it. Im still keeping up the NOPM campaign. Might not make much of a difference but its all I have left. Its all that can stop me from feeling helpless while my club is lost

I really like the new shirt. Not getting it myself in protest. Is hard as i always get the shirt. As is me not getting the programmes. I am going to get one off E-bay. At least i have managed to order a calendar from Calendar club. The protest is getting to me now. Hope we get sorted so that i can get the top and walk around Wigan as proud as hell to be CCFC mad.

I didn't like it but son's was delivered today and it looks better in the "flesh". Even the pentagonal pattern looks all right.

I always get one, but rarely wear them but won't be getting one this year. Son likes it though.

Personally, I think the shirt is an abomination. I really dislike it intensely.

To be fair I was the same.

cannot really comment on the looks as I have not seen it close up but must admit have brought a few hideous ones in my time....

But it was a City top so you wore it with pride not anymore.

Bring back the days that every kit lasts for two seasons!

So I'm assuming the kit on sale at the moment has the cartoon of an octupus on the front....What is going to happen in 3 months when a real sponsorship deal kicks in and the charity 'gesture' expires? The people buying the kit at the moment are wasting money on a kit which is soon to be out of date...plus it has an octopus on it!! I wouldn't be surprised if Scrotium incorporated this into the club crest, perhaps replacing the phoenix or the elephant. Sky Blue Sam is soon to be Olly the Octopus, Northampton's number 1 team!

The replica kit doesn't have a sponsor. The rest of your post is talk of Mad Maddy McMad from Madville, Madshire.

I don't like the dark blue stripes. Looks too much like a tesco bag.

The kit has grown on me, but i wont be purchasing, I have the last two Home shirts hanging in my wardrobe, probably worn twice if that, and most of the others in the loft. Will last seasons end up being the last Coventry shirt I will ever own? Only time will tell. NOPM

I don't think Tesco are going to sponsor a firm that in fact took some business away from them. They are still sponsoring a stand in the Ricoh I suppose, but can't see them renewing unless something happens there.

The kit is late cos it's taken Fishers granny this long to knit them!
So cut the poor old biddy some slack with the upside down badge, bet she's glad no f**ker likes it
