At least they tried to give us a better quality material with the rebranded Fester tops

Although I have a hatred of everything Celtic, yes I know I'm a racist bigot, Sky Blue and White Hoops would look excellent and perhaps move us away from the Man Citeh comparisons ?

I don't recall us ever having hoops - It would be a nice change

Sounds like we'd be a wishy-washy QPR.

I'm just an old-fashioned plain sky blue man. No hoops, stripes or anything resembling either.

Brian from Holbrooks is wearing this one today at the snooker (my fave too - that's the kit, not Brian)

Just the top - not the shorts and socks (although hard to say til he stands up)

If the rumour on here of a change to Nike is correct we'll probably end up with rebadged leftover Man City stock. At least we'll always know what our next kit will be, just look at the current Man City one!

You can say that about any team with any kit design thought

Cant have hoops because QPR
Cant have stripes because of Newcastle
Cant have plain because of Man City
cant have half and half because of Blackburn
Cant have 4 quarters because of Wycome.

Do Nike slum it as low as we are? My dream of wearing Air Jordan Willis shoes may come true!

We've had plain and stripes before, but switching to those newer designs would raise naturally comparisons to the other clubs. Particularly Blackburn who switched to a sky blue.

I hear white and blue hoops, QPR comes straight to mind.

I've always quite liked Crystal Palace away kits, where they have had the one diagonal line down, from the left shoulder to the right hip.

What about an all sky blue kit with a darker blue diagonal line. Wonder whether that would look any good or not?

That's a great kit, Otis. I used to like the Luton one from the late seventies too.

I think the current kit is the worst for a very long time so hopefully they'll give us something nicer next season. They should look to the past as we are doing to for inspiration.

Totally agree.

Let's re-create the old days when it used to be fun to go and watch our club play!

There's plenty of nice kits from our past we could return to. As people have been saying, our kits of the past 3 years or so have looked quite washed out and lame.

I am not sure if it is just me but I struggle to see the shirt against the empty seats and it seems to be hard to pick up for the players as well.

Let's go retro and have the Big T one back with the change shirt in red!

I remember liking a yellow Aberdeen away kit too which was similar to the Luton one. I think it was Admiral or it could have been Bukta.

I'll always have a soft spot for this, despite looking like a walking radiation warning sign.

That was my first Cov shirt, so I'm blinded by nostalgia in this case. They followed it with another yellow/black Asics shirt that I despised despite it being less loud a design.

Ah, that explains it. Mine was the "tramline" as worn by Gary G in that Admiral advert.

If they're going to keep making actual kits so slim fitting they should do a different fit for the fans. Not all of us look great in a skin tight top!

Some of us don't even look great in our skin, never mind the top!

I remember watching that on MOTD. I was in a hotel room in Bournemouth with my mom and dad.

I was there. Right behind the goal. Saw that the ball clearly went in.

I didn't tell the ref though.
