We haven't got a new one due to the late release of it last season, so its just carried over for this year.

Edit: And no, the home kit is changed yearly, the away kit every 2 years. Normally. Obviously, this season being the exception.

You'd think with the late release, they would have designed something a bit better

The kit was designed well in advance, it was released (and unveiled) late due to the club owing Genesis (the suppliers of the kit) money still, and with the whole financial situation at the time, the club couldn't get the first batch of kits in until end of September if I remember rightly. Initially, Genesis would only provide 2000 shirts if I am not mistaken, that was to cover retail and players too. I am assuming that figure has risen since back then lol

still doesn't excuse the poor design ;)

Add to that, are we the only club in the country not to have a sponsor? And the away kit is very smart I must say... Especially on my missus ;)

Still think the away shirt needs a sponsor to look complete. Wonder if we'll get one eventually. I may buy one when we do.

Might have posted this before, but I think all clubs should alternate the renewal of kits, little bit more affordable that way!

On every shirt I've owned, I'd have happily paid a little more for a version without the sponsor. Think of all the kids seeing me dazzle at five a side and suddenly feeling compelled to bet online or use a courier to move small parcels.

I thought home kits were every year, with away shirts every other year?

Yes. The current home is a one-off due to the delay in its release last year.

Haven't had a home kit lasting for 2 seasons prior to this since 94-96.
