Maybe Dhillons should become an away pub? Everyone else up the CBS.

Really impressed for a 1st attempt, much better than I expected, more games for the kids, decent food, big screens, just need more bars for next time but without knowing how many would turn up thats difficult to gauge!
Sounds a bit negative but was shit. Stupid queues to get in then nothing in there to justify queuing for. Good idea but make it worth going to.
More bars. It was a good 30 to 40 minutes wait on the queue to get a beerWhat would you suggest to make it better?
As bad as the queue situation sounds in there today. I was outside in the usual bit. Queued for 20 minutes and they closed the bar just when I was next. Seething.
As a positive though. Block 10 is incredible.
Waltzed in with no queue at 14:40. Straight to the bar with no queue. Half time, don’t even need to go down early, bev in hand within 5 minutes.

We left when there was a problem with the beer and queues beginning to get very long.I am sure the club will improve the experience as time goes on. Personally I would favour the club slightly splitting up the space into zones I.e.
1. Family zone where all the activities for kids would be located together.
2. Food and drinks zone with wooden picnic benches etc for fans to sit and talk at.
3. TV and more bars zone where the 2 big screens are used for people who want to watch the early game.
4. Music zone, where the speakers are focused so while the rest of the hall can hear the tunes those in the music zone can get the loudest noise.
Need to get people outside so we can get more table tennis tables in there.

Not sure I agree with kids doing that but glad he had a good time under parental supervision.Took my lad in there (aged 10), whilst it was noisy and won't be everyone's cup of tea, he had a great time. Did the speed shooting
Took my lad in there (aged 10), whilst it was noisy and won't be everyone's cup of tea, he had a great time. Did the speed shooting, played a match (and scored a goal at the CBS). When he looks ok google maps, I no longer have to explain to him what the spaceship thing attached to the arena is. Most importantly "it's ours". For years there was nothing to entice you to the arena, it's taken 20 years, but it does feel like home now. All of the activities were free (other than food and drink!). Yes it will need some tweaking around the edges, but as a first stab it was great. Watching my son play a match to the tune of "message to you Rudy" was fantastic. The club is heading in the right direction, both on and off the pitch.
Only on match days its rammed nearly every week with exhibitions.Good stuff. The exhibition hall has been criminally under-used since the place was built.
I can't quite understand why get scanned again as most fans get scanned at the turnstiles anyway. What would you suggest to make it better?
This is before the turn style scan.I can't quite understand why get scanned again as most fans get scanned at the turnstiles anyway.

Totally agreeIts a fair point but, people are coming from outside the ground so anyone could get in there who hasn't been scanned inside the ground.
The reason it takes so long is because the security guards, which there is not enough of them, are using handheld scanners and scanning people all over from head to toe, they need to use what they use going into the corporate areas a walk through scanners and then you only pick out those people when it sets an alarm off.
That would speed up the cues.
