Interesting that the multi ball system is being brought in across the efl next season. Also, teams can't use any towels or other items to dry balls for throw ins

Can guarantee certain teams will still find a reason to abuse the multi ball system when holding onto a lead. For some reason I particularly remember that happening at Leicester when Levein managed them. While it was 0-0 there were spare footballs everywhere, but as soon as they took the lead they all vanished apart from the one.

Glad the towel thing is going. Though may change my mind if we sign a long thrower.

Just waiting for the talksport headline.

Might get another ten mins of play Vs Birmingham now. Can't remember his name but they have a long thrower and them taking throws seemed to go on forever...I'm sure he was using a towel too.

A good reason to wear a shirt with long sleeves and just give it a cuddle.

Small aside, but did my eyes deceive me or did Dabo launch a long throw a fair way along the sidelines during the playoff final?

Suggests if we'd bothered, he had it in him?

I'd always assumed we kind of coached that into him as he grew up and bulked up a bit (or as he got older and stronger he could throw it further!)

More technique than strength.
