Pinched someone else from Forest

Coventry City are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Tyrrell as the Club’s new Chief Operations Officer.

Paul will start his role with the Sky Blues on 21st July, ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Paul joins the Club from Nottingham Forest, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, Paul also held the same role at Aston Villa, as well as having been Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.

Interesting that he only started at Forest in December last year before resigning last month. Wonder what went on there.

A very tiny bit of me misses when the club was run like a Sunday league team. All these big appointments makes it all sound so corporate and less like my local football club. But football is big business and less about the season ticket holder watching from the terraces....so lets all embrace a seemingly proper run modern football club.

The relationship between the club and fans are being destroyed.
