A series of new CGI renders of the Bishopgate development have emerged.
The Bishopgate development will be built on the site of the former Royal Mail sorting office, which is set to be transformed as five large residential blocks aimed at the student market make their mark on the city’s skyline.
The complex will eventually house around 1100 students, but phase one will see the delivery of three of the five blocks totalling 721 beds, which sit on a three storey plinth. The plinth contains the entrances to both the student accommodation and two new retail units.
Site preparation work has been underway for several weeks and construction will begin in earnest later this month.
