This season has to be about survival now
No investment no funding and owners that don't give a flying one about the club or the fans

Warnock can create an us v them mentality but if he won't get funding he won't come

Wouldn't be surprised if TM rang Warnock on Wednesday night and said, "Mate, I've had enough here, they're going to approach you once I've left. Don't touch it with a barge pole."

Listened to Warnock a lot on Talksport. He left Rotherham because their direction didn't suit him. There is absolutely no way he would join our circus but he would easily be my choice to come in. Excellent with a shoestring and he is a ruthless fucker as well which is what we need....not a nicey nicey

I'm sure most of us thought there was no chance that Tony Mowbray would come.

I agree he's the man for short term success but I'd rather we try to find the next Eddie Howe from the lower leagues

The next Eddie Howe?
With this shower in charge we'd be lucky to get the next Don Howe!!

Seeing this reposted has just reminded me of your rudeness all those years ago.
The minute you believe anything that Warnock says you may as well give up
A couple of months ago he said on Talksport he had ruled himself out of the Rotherham job but hadn’t even been offered it or even discussed with Rotherham.

Not much competition up in Scotland, so should suit him fine and qualify for European football.

Amazing, that's nearly 20 clubs he's managed in over 40 years!
And he's been a pensioner for the last 10 years.
What a career he's having.

Chris Badlan new Head of Recruitment... Interesting dynamic that.
I suppose with Warnock being a short term appointment he'll have little input on new arrivals though.

Would have loved Warnock to have managed us rather than Coleman - pretty sure things would have been very different.

Has he ever taken a side into Europe? If not it'd be quite the way to round his career off!

Clearly football is in his blood and permanent retirement is not in his vocabulary right now.
That's all well and good for him, it's his life, his choice, but what about his loved ones, isn't their needs and wishes important?
No ones tomorrow is guaranteed.

Under Sisu, don't think so, Warnock would have walked.

To a bang in-form Rangers - perspective

He'll get some results up there but I do think ever so slightly that Aberdeen's decision to appoint him was slightly PR maneuvered

That being said I like him, proper football bloke and a character the game will miss when he does eventually knock it on the head, I wish he'd managed us at some point over some of the dross we did appoint

Quit Aberdeen today with zero league wins and only two wins total under his belt - one of them against Bonnyrigg Rose at home. Seems to be getting a sympathetic response from the media - he really does enjoy a lot of goodwill, he’s a PR master.

Probably helps that they seem to be changing managers every few weeks, fans will be more focussed on what owners are doing than how Warnock has performed.

Guess the players don't wish to be involved in his swan song, did he go there for the European experience?

Tim Sherwood described him on Sky as Benjamin Button, getting younger with each job

He’s a had a great career and is a decent manager. We’d have been lucky to have him rather than Coleman.
