Fairly well known member from Malvern
............. My daughter and son-in-law are working really hard to raise loads of money for Cancer Research. They have a big evening coming up (sometime in Feb I believe), and they are holding a "Race Night" to help with the cause. They have been donated loads of equipment for the evening - raffle prizes etc - but are desperate for a large screen - a projector type thing. They can do the race thing on a pc monitor, but as you can imagine, in a full room at the Wyken Club with about 200+ people, it would be very difficult to see the monitor. The club has a large screen but it is permanently fixed downstairs and the event will be in upstairs room.
If anyone knows of someone who could help with this, just to borrow for the evening (insurance etc would be covered), then please "PM" me and I can pass on details. I know this is probably a long shot, but I know there are some big hearted folk out there. Thanks for any help.
