Read an article that Sammy is currently ill with a virus. He pulled out of Friday night's match for N. Ireland against Serbia due to illness and they are hoping he will be fit to play their match against Talin on Tuesday night.

Forget N. Ireland - I just hope he is fit for us for Saturday. It would be a disaster without him running things! Anyone heard anything about this illness and whether he has recovered yet?

He is also our Captain - anyone know who is our Vice Captain?

Think it's Cranie? Might be wrong though?

I heard that he was ill which is better than injured (unless it's a baddie like Darren Fletcher) and that he might miss the match against Estonia but they didn't say anything about this weekend.

Yes it is definitely Clingan.

It is now saying that it is unclear if Clingan will be fit enough to start the N. Ireland match tomorrow against Estonia but should be available to play some part in the game if required.

He is due back at Ryton on Thursday and will be assessed ahead of the Derby game.

Fingers crossed for Saturday then.
