I mentioned zero alcohol beer (in the context of having to be age verified at self service checkouts) on the Things that annoy you thread. For nearly 2 years I have really cut down on the alcohol - other than holidays the only time I have a real beer these days is on a match day.

The best “zero” I have found is the Leffe, annoyingly not really cheaper than the stuff with the alcohol in but has a pretty decent taste. My liver is probably in fine fettle now, not sure if the same can be said for my general grumpiness. It’s also been over a year off the vapes, so it’s also zero nicotine. Perhaps that explains a lot
