Bollocks, if he tells them to shoot when they are around the box and they dont because they want to walk the ball into the net its not his fault. He cant kick every ball for them, the players are shot shy and risk averse at the minute, they not him are bottling it.
In our first season back in the championship, at the start of the season we got 4 points from 24 available. Did we sack him then?

Stand by both points. We were soft last year early on, as we are now.
There was still a togetherness within the club between the fans and players. We still had Gyökeres and Hamer and O'Hare to come back from suspension and injuries.
Anyone calling for Robins out now is accepting our return to the depressing directionless Championship years of Adams, Dowie, Coleman, Boothroyd.

Sky said there is some stupid new rule that only allows one person in the tech area at once and Robins has been finding it difficult as they normally work as a team
Only one person is allowed to stand in the technical area now at a time
Performances and results have been very poor but I think Robins deserves a while longer.

Sheaf and Allen as the holders and Tats and COH as the top of the box (Allen is more progressive than Eccles even in the defensive role, and we will create more)

Preston A - they’re in poor form, although have had a hard run. Objectively we’d want at least a draw but with our record I’m not confident.
Stoke H - mid table but have had an extremely difficult last 5 which they’ve done well to get 2 wins from. Home games need to be wins though.
Millwall A - Poor side, should win
Plymouth H - Poor side, long travel, must win
I’d be really worried if we took less than 6 points from these. Then if you get into December, where we do have some difficult games, I think Robins job could be on the line. If we’re in the relegation zone at Christmas…

Gyokeres had already had a season scoring goals. If you take hamer and Gyokeres goals out from last season there’s a huge void and I personally can’t see where the goals will come

It’s not meaningless though is it. A team could have 40 shots but all come from 35 yards out.
with xG it assigns the likelyhood of scoring - take Bristol City for example. We had something like 12 shots, we’re said to have dominated. Whilst we dominated possession we had 1 shot on target.
