And Wolfsburg were in advanced negotiations with us, doesn't mean anything unlike you see them unveiled as a new signing.
I don’t disagree with you, but ultimately teams negotiating with multiple players is par for the course.

Gyokeres to Arsenal fell through a few times due to sticking points and were going to sign Sesko.

If MvE has agreed terms, that in my eyes suggests that Wolfsburg still have him in their sights.

Arsenal wanted Sesko as their no.1 target, if they has struck a deal with RB they wouldn't of signed Vik.

The stories say the French RB has agreed terms as well.

I hope MVE keeps his professionalism if its a case of King playing Hardball and Milan wanting to leave. Hopefully its Milan who rejected the "remaining details"

Who has said that Milan wants to leave?

If he was desperate for the move he probably would’ve refused to play. Good sign that he’s been so involved.

He’s still been in all the training pics , he’s probably not desperate to move

Although likely to be rested tonight, will be positive to see him travelling with the team.

He's likely happy to stay but doesn't want to sign a new deal unless we're in the Prem. We need to therefore get him signed or sell. Those disapproving of Sheaf's new deal, either we have a good back up for our 3 (probably better then we would sign) or we get better value for him when we do sell whether that's Jan or next summer. It also adds value to our BS which is why Chelsea have all those young player s on long contracts. We've regularly started giving 3.5 & 4 year deals over the past 18 months. As long as they're not players you're stuck with that don't make it, then it makes perfect sense.

Next one to get signed up on a bigger and longer deal should be Rudi. Will be good for him and again better prospects for us when he eventually moves on. Think he still has 2.5 years but when that gets to 18 months the value drops a lot.

Come on, I watched Everton vs Brighton and honestly a Milan in that Everton team would be attractive, he would fit in well there, however, I refuse to pimp our star players to other clubs.

If Wolfsburg want Milan then the last few details will get sorted…. It will take a bit of give and take but leaking it is just a way of applying pressure.

Could he not just give us til Jan, and then if he continues the way he's going, a prem team will come calling either way or is there specific pressure to move him on this week?

I'm delighted if MVE stays, unless it's us who has pulled the plug and he's unhappy about it. I also wonder what it means for us having funds to buy a CB and a winger.

Delighted if MVE stays: feels like we’re giving it a proper ‘go’ this season, and no other sides seem particularly settled yet. With him in the team, I think we’ve got a better chance of competing at the top end of the division.

Equally, if he is sold, we have a ready made replacement in KKH, who has spent the last 3 games learning how we like to play and the levels (and role) required if/when he plays in MVE’s position.

If we were (somehow) promoted this season, it would be one of the few positions where we already have a PL class player in place. Hold out. Offer improved terms for an extra year. See what happens come summer.
