Then maybe we don't want him to go?

Would seem rather odd to spend a lot of money on a right sided defender then given MVE never seems to be injured

I think its a case of we couldn't let the opportunity to pick up KKH go, especially at the price we paid for him, which is very cheap considering his pedigree.

We got very lucky last season with MvE being available for virtually every game, but there were times when his form dipped and he needed resting, and Eccles or Lats are definitely not the answer if he gets injured.

Having said all that, no one would be suprised if he were to be sold, and £8m would definitely do the trick.

Wolfsburg are now interested in a different full back.

My dad was so pissed off at the phone bill, he put a bowl by the phone and said I had to put a quid in every time I called ‘that f**king football chat bollocks’. 🤣

I filled it with buttons and stones once as a joke and he threw a cup at me.
A quid a time was a bargain - it was an 0891 number so was around 50p a minute.

We said the same about dropping £2m on Bassette and look how that turned out.

It’s obvious the idea was to sell MVE or at least have an expectation there would be significant interest in him. KKH is a good pick up whether MVE goes or not so it’s a logical signing. I’d be amazed it we start September with MVE but our solid work with contracts means we might.

Yeah but the one from open play,so close.
Think he's been great for us but I wish he would do more of that, but saying that a lot of the attacking players could do with taking a risk and shooting more. We are starting to look like Arsenal last season, crosses from out wide and 20 passes around the box with no result.
