Disappointing if true. We should demand £10-15M
I would guess between 8m and 10m. He cost us 3.5m so a good profit and a couple of years good service. We could hold out for more but its a bit close to the start of the season.

We did demand £10m and no one wanted him at that price.
So he stays then. It’s simple. Doesn’t strike me as a player who would down tools.

Signing KKH meant we were always under huge pressure to sell. A very disappointing fee but that’s to be expected with Bling.

I just hope now our summer can start. It’s been a real shocker so far

Problem with that is we’ve bought his replacement and we need money.
They need him quite urgently.

Keep reading that talks with the player are very advanced but not about the fee. They had 2 targets for RB. They didn't get the 1st.

Which we now need to use to buy a sub right back

I completely get why the club is quiet these days but Jesus is it boring at times.

Can we petition the club to rehire the kit man

Any ideas on who we could sign as a back up RB if Milan goes.
I'd sign Yan Valery, he'll either walk away from Wednesday soon or Chansiri will give him away for peanuts. I'd think it'll probably be someone younger that most haven't heard of though.

Maybe we’d look at Max Johnston. Seems to be up for sale this summer as a back up

I would take a guess at a loan or maybe someone similar to KKH.

a loan is going to want to play and we know Doug doesn’t like a loan if he can help it.

Hopefully we buy a CH and a striker and loan a RB
But its outgoings we need to make happen.
Collins, Bidwell, Raphael and Bassette need to be moved on

They are but whoever we bring in hopefully wants to play and pushes KKH to the limit. It's difficult to bring in a player good enough for what we need whichever route we take.

It's time, preparations are finally coming to an end: On Saturday, they travel to England for a double friendly against Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. Progress and, ideally, results are needed to solidify their belief in the new path.

Milan van Ewijk
VfL candidate: Milan van Ewijk, right-back from Coventry City. IMAGO/Action Plus
And, from the perspective of those in charge, new players are also needed. A center forward is desperately needed, as is a new right-back, with VfL already one step closer to securing a contract after the failed deal with Romanian Andrei Ratiu (Rayo Vallecano). According to information from kicker, the Lower Saxony club is intensively vying for the services of Dutchman Milan van Ewijk (Coventry City), who was already linked with the Bundesliga club weeks ago (also reported by the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung). Coach Simonis knows the 24-year-old well, having once played for SC Heerenveen, where the Dutchman was assistant coach at the time. An agreement with the player is said to have already been reached.

I think MvE is the most likable character we've had at the club for a long while. He's a quality player but we look like we have got just about the best replacement we could have realistically hoped for. But based on how he comes across in City Unseen and his post match rapport with the fans he's leaving massive shoes to fill in the dressing room

Pity Kane wasn't still here then - he'd have a field day shitting in any massive shoes

Yes I did think £6m would be sort of the fee, anyone expecting double figures was going to be significantly disappointed. Its clear he was earmarked for sale, and as the window progressed our demands would drop.
