Yep, should have been taken off about 45 minutes before.

Looked to get a knock, sprinted fine going forward with the ball but even more of an excuse not to track back.

I've been saying it for the last 5/6 weeks. The lad simply cannot play football. Absolutely awful. The only positive about him being here is that it gives myself hope that I can someday play professional football.

He seemed to pull up early on shows how little TM rates Lameries.

I don't have a season ticket but have probably been to 12-14 games this season home and away. He has been absolutely awful in literally every game I've seen. I can't fathom how he has got 10 goals. Based on what I have seen I'd be amazed if he carves a career anywhere above Conference level.

He's been shocking in well over 20 games this season and because we didn't win today the negatives stand out more.

How people defend him week in week out is completely beyond me. He plays well so infrequently that it's unfair on other players waiting to be given a go. It's not just poor performances, it's lack of effort and desire which winds me up.

O'Brien may have made his own decision to leave, but being frozen out of the team and having to watch a player sit in your position and make 1% of your effort was a massive contribution to that.

Considering Mowbray rotates the team as much as he does, but keeps playing a player that consistently doesn't hit the required levels of performance in the team is really bad man management, and probably doesn't help the team work ethic in my opinion.

Very poor today, it looked to me like he was wasn't fit, probably carrying a knock and Mobray gambled on him, clearly it failed.
didnt like the cheers when he was replaced,it can't help a confidence player which Murphy clearly is.

depends what the abuse is, if it is uncalled for then really no need. Out of order if so.

Has he just done it after the game?

I thought he'd took a knock to. He was walking like he'd twisted an ankle and I was surprised to see him start the second half to be honest.

The 'hard' fan who gave RCC grief the other week has probably reappeared. He spoke some shit then and probably has Murphy in his range now!

You can't even talk sense let alone play football. I would hazard a guess that he CAN play football to pretty good standard as if there were anyone better they would be in the boss' plans instead.

How many times did he shoot today when he could lay it off? Fleck went mad after one as he was in a great position to have a shot but Murphy didn't pass and hit a lame shot.

He didn't have a great game again but the ironic cheers are a bit much, he was no worse than a few others out there.

He was terrible today

The only thing worse was the grown men sarcadtically cheering him off

Everyone was shit today but Murphy moreso

If only we had another winger lying about, someone with a bit of energy and urgency.

Nah, it'd be a waste of wages.

This. If he makes it above a conference standard he'll have stolen a living.

The word to describe just how shit he is hasn't been invented yet.

Agreed. I think the only reason he got those cheers is because he has consistently been this poor and still seems to be on the pitch game after game. Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but his lack of effort over so many matches is eventually going to get the crowd on your back, especially when the manager isn't doing anything about it.

For me that's where the problem lies. Murphy has become undropable regardless of performance, and when the performances have been this bad and the manager does nothing, the fans are going to voice their frustrations.

I've been defending the bloke for weeks, mainly against Earlsdon bloke. I'm still convinced Murphy has fingered earlsdons wife as every single fucking post of his mentions him. But yes, he was multiple arses today.

Yes he was. He was benched nearly all games towards the end of his time here and he should have been one of the first players on the team sheet. For what though? Because Mowbray didn't like him, and the sun shines out of Murphy's arse? That's what it has become to sound like.

O'Brien made his own decision to leave but was an incredibly passionate player. If someone is playing in his position week in week out but isn't trying it's only going to go one way.

O'Brien was on the bench for a quite a few games where he should have been starting. The fact he had to watch a petulant child make a pathetic effort in his place was just about the nail in the coffin.

What's going on with him? Just not making the squad, has he even made the bench since he was given his extended contract?

I'd laugh and say I agree with you, but I think he would struggle to find her vagina. He's probably still a virgin.

But can you drop your second leading scorer? Well to be honest, the answer has to be yes.

I hope you weren't one of the ironic cheerers today when Murphy went off as there were a lot behind me in block 20
