Ah, I'm disappointed. I liked Joe. Good luck to him though. Hope he gets a game and doesn't just sit on the bench.

Pity he's gone. I wasn't convinced about him at first, but he's really won me over in all honesty. I'm not sure the club have handled this brilliantly, because I think there was a chance of him staying if we'd offered him a contract before the end of the season, but regardless it's done now.

I wish him every success, personally.

SISU is a bit like a long painful illness so fair play to him for getting out ... not sure we have personnel currently to bridge that gap, Lee may be capable of standing in his shoes, but I do feel that with the defence as weak as it is ... we may need someone with more experience between the sticks !

Disappointed hes gone but understand why. Pulled off some vital saves for us this season to keep us up.

Seems this has been handled very badly by the club, good luck to him though. I don't blame him 1 bit.

This could be a very big loss for us.

Does our club handle anything well ??

Good luck to him though...my fear is that this could be the start of a Moses style exodus:(

I'm sure we must have at some point, struggling to remember when at the minute though.

Seriously though no matter who leaves between now August he could be our biggest loss.

If anyone would've signed an extension it would've been him. Sadly the higher-ups think busting ACL takes higher priority than the team.

(In best George Whitebread accent) It's the best county in the bloody world!

You are Geoffrey Boycott and I claim my five pounds.

You should never ask a man if he's from Yorkshire. If he is, he'll tell you, and if he isn't, why embarrass him. :)

One of out longer serving players in recent years, put in a shift for the club and has been offered more money. Good luck to him but a shame he won't be playing 1st team football unless their highly rated keeper is on the move.

I must admit, after we lost Westwood I was a bit worried who would take his place but Joe served us well. Best wishes fella. Hope the future is bright for you.

was one of his biggest cynics, but definitely developed as a key player, and a fans favorite.

one thing I would like to see him develop is palming shots away from goal rather than towards oncoming strikers, then he would be a brilliant keeper.

good luck to him though, at a sensible, well run club :( :)

Inevitable I suppose but a great shame - particularly as he apparently wanted to play for us and would have taken a pay cut. Good luck to him though, did a decent job while he was here and can't really blame him if there wasn't an offer from us on the table.

But think positive - his wages can go towards paying the players that we are building around Wilson.

Players come & players go, he did OK last season but if a club comes in and offers more money then the inevitable happens. Wish him good luck.

Did well or us in the end, shame he's gone but do not blame him one bit. Shows what a sorry state we are in now we're a feeder club to the likes of Huddersfield

Do the people that have bought season tickets or go to sixfields realise now that we will have nothing but kids and last payday donkey loanees left come the start of the season?
Sisu are more bothered about winning a stupid courtcase than the football side.
Please open your eyes,We are dying a slow death,With certain relegation.

Of course they are - they are a hedge fund not a group of Cov fan billionaires who are happy to lose money. And as far as they are concerned it isn't a stupid court case, it's crucial to them finding a way to make a profit.

I think I'd quite like to see how the squad looks on day one before I can bet for or against relegation... are you psychic?

Almost everyone can offer more money to our players. Why? Because our owners have chosen to take us to Northampton to play in front of minuscule crowds. Don't forget that.

Anyway, best of luck up north Joe lad.

Another negative step in the debacle that Sisu have masterminded.
It just gets worse every day with them.
